To wipe or not to wipe?

I always thought pee was acidic; that's why you burn plants if you pee on them

Babies can get nappy rash if they are left in a dirty nappy for too long; I assume this is due to pee and pooh, and not simply being clammy. I have only ever not used a wipe a few times; when I'm being particularly lazy. I just think, I don't like not being wiped, so my LO wouldn't either

Im sorry but I had to ask, why the hell are you peeing on the plants? :haha:

I usually do but sometimes don't. It depends where we are really.

I'd never thought about not wiping until I read this. I wipe every change xx

sometimes i do sometimes i dont. depends on how wet the last nappy was.. poop i wipe all the time obviously.. scraping off the excess with the front of the nappy first. lol

I wope during every change ,ainly because I wouldn't like to be left with smelly wee on my bum so I'd assume Ozzie wouldn't either. I don't do a mass clean but just a little freshen up :)

I don't. I use Huggies Newborn nappies and I'm amazed at how absorbent they are!! You can touch the inside of a wet nappy and won't feel any liquid, so it doesn't stay sitting on baby's skin. So if it's just a wee we do a quick change without wiping. No nappy rashes here yet either.

I also wipe and it never crossed my mind not to! xx
