Tomato Soup Testers!

Woo! DH and I went to the store the other night and we found this huge tomato soup sale! It was only tomato soup and no other soup on sale...so I looked at it like a big flashing arrow sent from above saying TRY MY METHOD!

We grabbed about 25 or so but the sale is still going. :happydance:

Congrats Fidget! Thinking about making tomato soup tonight but don't know if I'm going to make dinner, feel kind of tired today. FX'd we'll all get our :bfp: soon!

Well DH gets to lay off the tomato based products, due to our :bfp: but he still insisted on buying some when we did the weekly shop ?!?!

How is everyone else doing?

x
Congratulations Feisty!:happydance:

As for me, I didn't ov this cycle, so I took drugs to induce AF, and I'm back to CD1 today:blush:

Oh no! So sorry to hear that Quaver, but at least with induced AF you can start afresh. So to help you lovelies out here are some recipes (well over 200 to be precise  ) for you all to try!

How's everyone doing?
We are having tomato juice every morning, and yesterday had tin of tomato and butter bean soup:flower:

I'm CD14, and am due to ov soon:happydance:

Ooo Quaver I think that those :spermy: should be super by now!

Fingers crossed Darling! x

Right Ladies, updates please!

Due to our recent loss poor old DH has to get back on the tomato diet! He says he doesn't mind which is just as well usually :haha:

Hi Fidget,

So sorry about your news xxxx I'm no further along:growlmad: DH dropped his lil :spermy: sample off Monday so just waiting on the results, fingers x'd :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Lintu I really hope that your DH :spermy: sample is given a clean bill of health!

Is he keeping up with the tomato diet???? Or has 2 months made him sick of the sight of them?

Never heard of this before but Tesco has a offer on soup just now so we shall give it a try :) xxx

I have let him slip a little :winkwink: but he never goes more than a day without something, soup, beans, chillie aslong as it's tomato based I'm happy :haha:

And I have been shoveling nuts down him also

Well done! I am so proud! We have to do a budget shop next week and I have a sneaky suspicion that 75% of our meals are going to be tomato based :haha:

Wow I haven't posted here in a while, sorry ladies! I've been so busy with school, my family, etc. DH works two jobs now so he doesn't have a chance to eat as many tomato based products which sucks so I guess I'd be a bad candidate for this thread now :(, oh well, I do wish you ladies the best of luck though!!

Oh Angelgirl you won't be a bad candidate! Just pack him off with a Thermos of tomato soup and let him take Guava juice to drink! :haha:

Out budget shop only has two meals containing chopped tomatoes but as I don't have my ERPC until Thursday I figure it should be fine!

xx

Hey - question. Since its the lycopene thats the key ingredient, would V8 juice work the same? Anyone know. I just mentioned eating tomato soup everyday and OH looked at me like I was nuts! But he loves V8 juice. Could this help or would it be pointless?

I'm sure V8 juice would contain it since it is a tomato based product, seems all tomato based products do, it's just that tomato soup has a higher amount in it. :)

And ya I guess I'm not a bad candidate, I can get one of those soup thermoses and do that ty :).

Info on V8 said one serving has 3 times the amount of lycopene than a tomato. I've bought some this afternoon. Guess we'll find out!

ha ha ha my Hubby is full of a cold this week and bless hasnt felt hungry but has still forced beans on toast down, now thats dedication :haha:
