I miss being called a hippy

I used a carrier exclusively when Lucas was small and I did once have someone call me a fake when they visited my house and saw a pushchair outside (that I kept for when he was with his Dad/my mum)

I didn't know hippies couldn't vote though - that's a new one you bad hippy you.

Oh yes, if you are a hippy who babywears, you can't possibly use "normal" things like a stroller

I got a stereotype story..not baby related. At my old job they laid a bunch of us off so a few were looking for new jobs and most jobs you have to take a drug test. 2 coworkers (who I was really cool with so I wasn't too pissed at the comment) asked me how I passed my drug test when I came to our current company lol. I was like..umm..I had clean urine..? They assumed I must smoke marijuana 24/7 and take other drugs..being a hippy and all

When my husband had long dreads we had a security officer follow us through the grocery store. Seriously? We're just doing our grocery shopping dude.
