Hi, I'm looking for a new toy for my daughter, she's 13 months. Are toot toot drivers sets worth it? and if so is there one you'd recommend or would you recommend something similar?? Thankyou

Hi.we were given a garage.my son us 18 months and loves it.i don't know whether i would have spent trade money on it new.but i have got him another car for it.

I have to disagree with the above. we have the toot toot garage, fire station, air port & train station!

We love it in this house and now LO is older he can put it together himself, I've never paid full price for any of it and I'm sure there are alternatives on the market.

I'm going to get a few more bits for his birthday, one word or warning when it's all out it does take up a lot of space!

We have nearly the whole toot toot range as Parker in LOVE with it. the only toy that gets played with Everyday!!. but if ur in the UK loom on the facebook selling sites i always see it on there. If not Amazon often have great deals on it...i got the train set which normally £60 for £30!

My LO absolutely loves it, but be warned, the songs will drive you mad!! (I know have "I'm a small garage, but I can do big things..." going through my head :dohh:)

We were given one (though it's called something else here) and it drove me mad because my son kept taking it apart and whining at me  That toy is now gone I'm afraid!

A lot of kids I know do like them though.

We have the train set and airport. The train set is great and the airport is nice for extra track but overpriced for what it is. I was most disappointed that the only vehicle you can get that will go round the track on its own is the train that comes in the train set and you can't buy spares. My friend has the garage for her little girl and I think its awful, it's so noisy (I hate vtech at the best of times and we didn't buy any of the toot toot stuff ourselves, they were gifts) so I wouldn't have the garage. My daughter actually likes the wooden train sets you can get more than this too.

My 2 year old has almost all of the sets and vehicles and absolutely loves them.I find them noisy and annoying though!

This was my living room today!

"I am driving on the road! Toot toot BEEP BEEP"

"I'm a truck, a little truck, I'm busy delivering goods!"

"The deliveries are on ME!"

Ahem... sorry just had to get that out of my system.

My DD LOVES her Toot Toot cars. I only have the pack of 3 at the moment to try them out and she adores them. I on the other hand wish to set fire to the whole Toot Toot Range and dance in their burning shells. But she likes it! I may even be persuaded to buy her the garage at some point this year ;)

We like them, Jacob has the airport, construction site and extra track. I have turned all the car noises off though and he doesn't know how to get them back on just yet.

Thomas the tank engine and Lighting McQueen enjoy going around the track too :)

Yes! It's the toy he's got the most use out of. He also got the train and airport (I agree the airport is disappointing) for Christmas and he just loves it! It's also the toy most other children gravitate to when they come to play. He now sits and makes the track and both the garage and the train set are easy for me to play with too.

Damn!! Now it's the little truck song that's in my head!!

:haha: It's permanently in my head! Along with the V Tech Walker "THANKS FOR CALLING!" over and over and over again...

We are BIG fans of the toot toot range. Even the songs aren't too bad once you get used to them! I would highly recommend the Parking Tower and a couple of packs of extra tracks.

My LO is 14 months and adores playing with the cars. The track is a bit pointless at this age, he just pulls it apart. My 3 year old, however, loves building the track and driving the cars on it. It's definitely a toy that grows with your child.

Ds has all the sets. He got the garage for his first birthday and loved it so next christmas and birthday everyone bought him more. It takes up a lot of room When you connect all the sets together, but ds loves it. The songs get really annoying. We put ours away and get it out maybe once or twice a month for a few days so we dont get too fed up of it (me an oh not lo). If your only buying one set the airport is the worst and the train station is the best.
