Surely some christmas crazy's got theirs up by now????

Mine's normally up by now, but DH was building a mantelpiece I wanted to decorate so I've had to push it back. The 20th November this year, the latest I've ever put up my tree!

Looking forward to seeing them

Mine doesn't go up until a week in to December, so I need tree porn until then!

1st Dec for me. I'm doing an entire house clearance before I do it. Need to sort the toy corner out where the tree will be going too.

I'm excited. All new decorations.

First weekend of December for us I can't wait :)

I keep saying I want to do a massive clean of the house before we get the christmas stuff out but still haven't found the motivation hahaha

Nope nothing till 1st of December here too :xmas16:

Tree goes up the first weekend in December for me although with baby due sometime this month I don't know exactly when it will go up! Currently trying to persuade DH to allow me to buy some more Christmas baubles and decorations even though I said that we shouldn't buy any more this year. Then I saw them in the shops and I want them all so bad! Looking forward to seeing lots of beautiful trees!

Mine will be up soon, lol. I already hauled the tree up and set it up, but it needs all the lights restrung since so many are burnt out. So as soon as I get that completely done, then I'll decorate:) I'll post pics once its done, probably at least another week though since I don't have much time to work on it in the evenings.

Ours goes up the first weekend of December or the last weekend of November, whichever is most convenient. DH birthday is the 4th of December and he likes it up before his birthday so we try to work round that

I think you might win! :haha::thumbup:

I definately need to do a house clearout before christmas. Especially the kid's toy boxes. They pick up so many bits of tat from parties and stuff.

What type of tree is everyone having this year? We have a really good expensive fake one which we bought 7 years ago. But every few years we'll get a real one. We had a real one last year so this time it'll be the fake one.... Although I'm tempted to have both, but would have to buy extra decorations.

I don't know, I'm actually questioning just giving up on this tree and buying a new one, lol. I spent 2 hours trying to get the lights off on Tuesday, and only got through the very top section. There are 3 more sections to go, and those sections are all progressively larger with more branches than the top piece that took that long. They were wound so tight on there, and wrapped around every single branch, it's a total nightmare getting them off. It's such a nice tree that I feel like it's worth trying to fix it with new lights, but....I don't know if I have that kind of patience to finish this project. LOL.

Sounds like a mammoth task!
