I can't wait to see more going up! we're most likely moving just before or a few weeks after christmas so no idea what's going to happen with decorations/our tree

Mine will be up soon, lol. I already hauled the tree up and set it up, but it needs all the lights restrung since so many are burnt out. So as soon as I get that completely done, then I'll decorate I'll post pics once its done, probably at least another week though since I don't have much time to work on it in the evenings.

I don't know, I'm actually questioning just giving up on this tree and buying a new one, lol. I spent 2 hours trying to get the lights off on Tuesday, and only got through the very top section. There are 3 more sections to go, and those sections are all progressively larger with more branches than the top piece that took that long. They were wound so tight on there, and wrapped around every single branch, it's a total nightmare getting them off. It's such a nice tree that I feel like it's worth trying to fix it with new lights, but....I don't know if I have that kind of patience to finish this project. LOL.

Sounds like a mammoth task!

I made it through another section last night, so that has made me a little more determined to finish it now. Whew! Time consuming, but I'm getting there slowly but surely. My husband just shakes his head at me, smiling. He can't believe I'm actually still working on it, and haven't just bought a new tree instead already. LOL

We are thinking of decorating the living room before Christmas. Got the paint already just finding the time. I like the tree up on the 1st so better get cracking!!

Helped put my mum's tree up today. Helping my sister to do hers next week and mine will go up last week of November. In the space of three weeks I'll have put up three trees

I feel like I need an extra week in November this year lol. DH is sooo busy working and I have loads going on too with DDs nursery (I'm their chair person). I don't want to miss the start of Decemebr. This is my favourite time of year
