do you recommend them for a toddler? I hate the highchair that we have as she keeps slumping down in it and it looks so uncomfortable. Would it be worth my while getting one? I know they are expensive but would hope it would last for many years. Also at 15 months would she need the baby set? and the harness? or just one or the other?
Thanks for reading!

I don't have the trip trap but I have a mothercare look alike that cost me £17.50 in a sale! I quiet like it but sometimes I with it had a tray. I would try LO in it before I bought the baby set.

We have one and love it. Have had it since LO was about 6 months old. He is now 19 months old and is still in the baby set and harness. We tried him without the baby set the other day, but it just isn't safe enough yet as there is nothing to hold him (the harness wouldn't stop him going down). You definitely need the harness too as our LO has already figured out how to climb out of it if the harness isn't fastened - and can do it pretty quick too.

I forgot to say, you don't really need the cushion set. We got one, but found it not very useful as it ended up in the washing more than it was used on the chair. Should have thought about that before buying it, but it looked so nice. :dohh:

Thanks piperette, yeah I figured the cushion would just be an added expense and get destroyed!

I have the BabyDan which is virtually identical and a fraction of the price  I actually really liked the cushions, made it much more comfortable for Aisling.

I got a tripp trapp for Tom when he was 9 months old and it has been well worth the money though a BabyDan one would be the same.

You would prob need the baby set still - I think we took Tom's off at about 19 months and then just had the harness till 22 months but the harness isn't that great - it doesn't stop them slipping down, just from standing up. He uses it now just as a chair and can climb up and down by himself.
The cushions came as part of the deal and they wash really well and stop him slipping around on the wood. I bought a second set cos I really liked them and found them handy.

Yes I love mine. I'd go with the harness - just get a cheap one as opposed to the crazy expensive Stokke one. My daughter was out of the baby-set by that age as she kept climbing in and out.

I have this one too. It's much cheaper but just as good. We bought the cushion for it but stopped using it once Esther stopped feeding herself as it needed to be washed every day!!! I think that are brilliant at they really seem to cater for all ages. I would imagine that Esther will still be using hers when she is 6 or older (they are supposed to last until 8)
