gotta to admit this last episode bored me to tears, if Eric hadn't of been there with his top off i prob might have fell asleep :/ hoping it picks up x

Watched Ep3 last night and am starting to feel a little impatient with this season.
There are just way too many things going on that are quite far-fetched. And I'm not buying the Sookie-Eric relationship. It's not working for me. Rather than scared/confused man, they've decided to go with this sort of impulsive child/vampire. I'm finding it kind of silly and contrived.
Hoping the season improves......

i was always a bill fan but seeing him now and knowing ...well , bye bye bill ...and ...Hello "ERIC" !!!

i prefer the new polite sweet eric once of course he stops being so comfused and child like vampire ...

yeah, you can take someones memories but surely he is the same person underneath ... all they have done is cast a "make Eric a man child" spell haha hes winding me up more then anything xx

I liked the episode too!


for those that have watched it, here's what I liked:
I like the confused innocent Eric. Of course he comes across a bit naive and clueless, but that's because his memory has been wiped and he's insecure.

You can tell Sookie already has a soft spot for him, otherwise she wouldn't let him stay in her house. I like the way this is going.

The Sam / Tommy storyline will get interesting, especially with this skin walker stuff. Tommy listened in to that converstion about how you become a skin walker, and I think he will conspire with his mum to kill Sam.

Poor Jason - that Crystal is a total freak. I can't believe she raped him and all these other girls look they were queuing up to do the same.

I think Lafayette is a very powerful witch, not Marnie. Notice whenever he comes and links hands with the rest of the coven something powerful happens. I'm very intrigued about how this will develop.

That doll freaks me out though and I have no idea why Jess would give it to Mikey - ewww!!

In the book:
The coven that moves into Shreveport is headed by a very nasty witch/were named Marnie. She's a witch, a werewolf, and a regular drinker of vampire blood, so she is freakishly strong and very powerful. She wants to take over Shreveport's supernatural assets and wealth, so she sends her coven members out to threaten Fangtasia and force Eric into handing the business and profits over to her. He refuses and she casts a spell on him that wipes out his memory.
Sookie finds him running down the road to her house with no clue as to who he is. She takes him in and agrees to hide/care for him until the vampires can track down Marnie and her coven and force them to release Eric from the spell. Marnie has put out missing person posters and is making all sorts of efforts to find Eric, so there is a considerable amount of danger for Sookie in dong this.
In the book, Sookie and Eric suddenly wind up spending a lot of time together. Time in which Eric is no longer the ambitious head vampire, but is now very open and honest. And of course, what else do you do when you have lots of free time with a sexy vampire? They end up in bed together pretty damn quick. Except all that bed stuff starts out in the shower. Let's just say it is very steamy.
So viewer expectations are pretty high amongst those who read the books!

Bill and Portia Bellafleur? WTF?!

First off, in the books Portia looks NOTHING like her character on the show - how can SHE be related to Andy? Second, she DESPISES vampires and only uses Bill for NON SEXUAL purposes. And isn't Bill like her great great great grandfather or something? I wonder if they'll include that tidbit.

I didnt read the books, but in episode 4 they mentioned lineage...which is creepy at this point considering the nature of their relationship. I wonder where they're going with all this Portia stuff.
