Trying to conceive # 1 with male fertility issues

my appointment is on the 22nd. AF is still no where in site I know everything is out from the MC my hcg went back to 0 so idk why nothing ... very frustrating. At least they will be able to do another SA on my DH and we can start making up a good plan.

we are also struggling with male fertility issues and are currently waiting for IVF but for that I have to lose quite a bit of weight or they won't treat us which is hard going but i'm getting there.

My hubby is 45 and had a loss with his ex over 10 years ago, since then he has been unable to ejaculate during intercourse but only through pleasuring himself.

we have seen many doctors, counsellors and such and they believe it is a fear or not wanting to hurt his partner (me) so although all is well with him he has a psychological block which we need to over come and because i've been with him for 8 years and he hasn't ejaculated in this time we have been referred for IVF although hoping that maybe one day a miracle might happen and my AF is currently late so who knows .. it's a tough journey x

Hi Northangel! Welcome! Have you tried horny goat weed? It helped my OH a lot as he battled to stay erect during intercourse. He said it helped him all around. Good luck with the weight loss. I know how hard it is and I salute you for being able to do it. I'm not too over weight but because I'm so short, my BMI says I'm obese lol so I've lost about 7KGS and want to lose Atleast 10 more. Can't wait to see your BFP.

Swimmy, your appointment isn't too far away. I really hope you get answers because you deserve your rainbow.I haven't been to my FS in awhile. He isn't per say a FS but he is a homeopath and deals with Fertility as well. He tells me everything I already know (from being on here for so long lol) so it's pointless paying for consults..I want to try him ok Fertilaid along with the count and motility boost but wow is it expensive haha

4DPO and funnily I'm not even tempted to test. When I go to the loo, I pee as quickly as possible so I can get over the guilt of not peeing on a stick lol.

Hahaha my friend is 6dpo and took a test this morning. It's crazy how addicted we can get to peeing on sticks hahaha. The visit went good with the doctor, got a lot of labs drawn, we are having our genetics checked, and next week im going to have a sonohystogram to see if I have anything wrong with my uterus. Started on clomid again and progesterone and they actually hav my DH taking clomid daily to up his count.

That's awesome! How long will it take to get all your results back? I'm impatient for you haha. There isn't any doctors here that deal with Fertility. I would have to travel each time if I wanted to see someone so I'm going to start OH on fertilaid in the new year if nothing happens and get another SA done. I don't think OH sperm count is a huge issue but he only has 1ML so I think that could be the problem.

ladies my head is battered. We don't have our IVF appointment until the end of November but my cycle is currently really late, all tests are negative, i've got sore nipples and today EWCM (sorry) just don't know what to do.. any advice?

Are you able to go for blood tests? Your cycle could be held back due to stress or something else. I don't really have much advise for you. Sorry xxx

I tool the plunge and spent the money on Fertilaid. I can't wait for it to come. Took a test with FMU this morning and I thought I saw a shadow of a line but I was half asleep so couldn't tell. Looked negative when I checked this morning after I woke up.. Will be testing with FMU tomorrow. I will be 9 DPO then.

northangel88 - could be stress or sometimes when AF is a week late for me i get the same things. Hope she doesn't show up though!

CathiiNoo - is it fertilaid for you or him??? The one for women is only suppose to be used for women with pcos. I've had a few docs give me big warnings about the damage they can do that is irreversible. But they have given the thumbs up to keeping my DH on the male fertilaid

So far nothing from the tests they said it can take up to a week to get the results and the genetic testing sometimes longer. But i go and see him in 2 days for my sonohystogram and will ask him then. It's weird last time i took clomid i was really emotional but not this time. And lucky me i have the whole week off of my fertile window!! i'm only cd7 so its gonna be a long wait again... which we all know i stink at waiting.

I got the Fertilaid for men. How long was your OH on the fertilaid before you got pregnant? I've read some amazing things on it. It arrived yesterday and OH will be taking 1 capsule 3 times a day along with sperm aid and his multi vitamins. I only taken vitex(premular) folic acid and a prenatal as I don't really have any problems fertility wise. Oh and EPO to bring on my EWCM as I don't get any or much. Waiting is always the horrible part. I wish I was able to NTNP without thinking about test dates etc. Fingers crossed xx

BFN this morning with a FRER. My chart was looking so amazing so was defiantly expecting to see something but no. Guess I'm out this month again

C'mon hun, try and remain positive. You've only been in this a few cycles and that chart STILL looks amazing. You're only 9DPO (as I said last cycle, that's the most common day to implant), you've still got plenty of time left hun.

Not yet, it's not due for 2 more days. Soya doesn't mess with my cycle thankfully. However, I have another raise on my BBT.... Hope it dips tomorrow and FF doesn't give me cross hairs lol.

Yeah don't count yourself out. I didn't get a + until cd12 so your not out until AF shows up. My DH had been taking it for about 2 months before it worked. He's back to taking it now so maybe we will get lucky again. My labs all look good and my sonohystogram was perfect so no issues. Just waiting on the genetic testing. Going in next week to see how many eggs I have cooking lol. I want his slow boys to have enough options hahaha.

I took a test this morning and a second line came up within the time limit but I'm using cheap Chinese tests. The ones with the pink lids. Had a bad indent with one of them a few days ago so don't really trust them. Had a negative digital and IC last night. Will test with another brand tonight.
