TTC after Tubal Reversal, using Clomid

Hello everyone, I am new to these types of threads but would love to meet some people/friends going through the same issues as myself...I'll give everyone info about what's been going on and my situation.

1998-At almost 19yrs old married and had my 1st son.

1999-Had my 2nd son.

2001-Had my 3rd son, then after his birth had tubal ligation. (Which obviously I regret now, but at the time i was 21 with 3 children)

2010- In June, I had a tubal reversal done, they were only able to repair the left tube. Been TTC ever since then.

2011- In November had HSG to determine if the left tube was patent and it was.

2012- Gynecologist suggested using clomid

Now- I am getting ready to start Clomid here in 2 days, I am anxious to start this and hopefully get pregnant. I am just wondering if anyone has any success stories after tubal reversal or results using Clomid with only one tube? I would love to go through this journey with new friends and anyone who can offer me any words of encouragement. Thanks so much in advance! My friend just found out she was pregnant after a reversal at 37 years old. Took her about 6 or 8 months, but it did work. She started with Chinese medicine too like Accupuncture. I myself just finished with a failed fround of IVF. Next step for me is the reversal...

I am TTC after a TR too. We have experienced 6 losses, and tried a round of clomid last month, and a few rounds of femara too...so far no sticky bean. I hope and pray for the best for us, and we get those sticky beans soon!

19 cycles TTC, HSG - Both tubes patient, on and off Clomid past 18 months and still no sticky BFP, only two early chemical losses... My current diagnosis is Unexplained Infertility?

My BB friends have been wonderful for support and currently there are only 3 of us still trying to conceive and I think I am the longest still trying out of our original group......There have been many tears but there are women on my thread who have become Pregnant and delivered wonderful babies, but as you all know it is a difficult journey, I just wanted to wish you all success in your future and I hope to see your BFP's - Baby Dust Everyone! Hi Brandi!!!

I had my tubal reversal 4 weeks ago and will be free to TTC on April 13th. They got my right tube open perfectly but, had to remove so much of my left tube but in the end did get it open after alot of work. I have 2 kids, a daughter, 10 and a son, 8.

I will start Clomid after my appointment on the 13th. I can't wait and it is great to know of other people in my situation!!!

Hi I had my reversal on 2/7/12 and they were able to repair both tubes I am also looking for a TTC after TR buddy that we can guide each other and share stories during this journey. Me and your story is exact except I had my reversal at 23 after my third which is now six. I regret ever doing it and is now on cd7 on my second cycle TTC

I pray for a sticky bean for you. I heard clomids cause cyst have you guys heard of that

Cloomid can cause cysts but, that is because they stimulate the hormaone that creates follicles. That risk is low but, I think it is worth the risk.

I just finished my 1st 5 doses of Clomid and am waiting to OV. I will tell you in 2-3 weeks if it worked!!

HI ladies I am using clomid this cycle as well!

I am Sandi, 35 I had my TL in April of 03 after the birth of my oldest son...fast forward to 2007 when I meet my Dh who had no children of his own but said he didn't want any, but after a year of marriage and helping me raise my 3 we decided to check into a TR. I found Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Cent and we made the drive from Mo in April 09. I have had one successful pregnancy after my TR, our son Gunner just turned 1 on March 29. We did have a surprise pregnancy in Jan which ended with a mc and D&C in march at 9+3 which made us realize we want 1 more however dh is deploying June so we are on a time crunch so we did clomid cds 3-7 and I just ovulated on cd17 and went for cd21 blood test to confirm ovulation. I did go in for a ultrasound on cd 9 to confirm follies and I had 3 on each side and 1 that was classified as a cyst at 3cm. But the cycle I got pregnant with Gunner I also has a cyst on my ovaries then as well so I am hoping that is a good sign.

No, Gunner was natural. I did 3 rounds of clomid before and didn't have any luck with it so I am hoping and praying this one works. Chapel Hill's staff is amazing!! I have zero complaints and they came so highly recommended I drove from Missouri to North Carolina.

I went to a great reproductive specialist in GA, but with the announcements and great things I hear from Chapel Hill I was skeptical, but I am putting in the almighty hands it gives me great confidence knowing that others like you are receiving blessings

I am in Mexico so, I had mine done here in Monterrey by a fertility specialist. They don't do it via laporoscopy here, they cut you open like a c-section but, she said my tubes were completely open and that the right side ws perfect but, the left side was a little shorter than she would have liked but, it was still good to go.

I investigated Chapel Hill and Lakeshore in GA. I was leanign toward Lakeshore because, I lived in GA at the time and it was an horu away. We moved to Mexico before I got it done so, I got my Dr here to do it. So far, I have no complaints except the fact that, they do not give good pain meds here1 All they give is Ibuprofen. Post op, I would have killed for a percocet!!! LOL

Yes my doctor said my test were wonderful I mostly be on my iPad if I didn't think it would creep some out i would have posted the pic they looked wonderful. She said they did the dye test and it was great I had a positive the end of march chemical miscarriage. But I trust it will happen

I didn't have a lap done either...pretty little scar right about my pubic bone. But so worth it. I put my all my faith in God that he will provide in his time. Good luck to all of you and I can't wait unitl we start seeing BFP's on this thread.

Hey MrsTruth!! I just saw you are in GA! I am from GA, Canton, GA to be exact. About an hour north of Atlanta. I miss GA so much! When I lived there, I hated it and wanted to leave nw, I hate Mexico and want to return to GA.
