TTC first month BUT just got new job!

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the situation cause Im confused as to what to do now...

Decided to try after 3 years married.... Docs appt today for examination results :wacko: very nervous as possible PCOS, Im 19.5 stone , no period for 8 months and trying to lose weight gradually and healthily ...Anyway I've been out of work the last 3 months and thought that it would be a plus for me to be able to put all my time and effort into TTC and getting my body ready for this...And I got a phonecall the other day telling me I got this job I had interviewed for on a whim and I start Monday. Hubby is thrilled at more money now we are TTC but all I feel is nervous and I fear I cannot handle it all at once! :nope:
 
im just going to throw this out there....if you start TTC you end up getting addicted to it :haha: you will find time k, even if you just start off doing small stuff to help like checking cervical mucus and position everyday and seeing when you O, that takes 5mins of your time everyday when you go toilet anyway, and a new job could help..if you enjoy your work you should be coming home happy and wanting to relax which is perfect for :sex: dont just put it on hold because of a job if you want to TTC im sure youll be able to cope fine..goodluck and i shall hope to see you still here when you start your job !! can tell us all about it !

I would think that having a new job would help you get some structure going. Also it would give you a break from constantly thinking about TTC lol and I agree if you have been out all day you will come home more willing to BD :sex: You should still have time to check CM and temp just do both in the morning since your temp has to be done early anyway. Just think you will be bringing in some extra cash too which mean more money to shop for baby when the time comes :)
 
have a look at the maternity leave policy of the new workplace too

i thought mine was a year then you could get it in full so i didnt try until now - turns out if its 26 weeks into the job and i think 4 months before your due date - then you can claim...wish i knew that before haha

Also take conception tabs if you can...make your hubby take them too - good for you! wellman conception for him - you can get boots own brand (or sanatogen ones they got omega fish oils in them)

And good on you for trying to get healthy for pregnancy...its tough on you so the closer to your goal weight the better

I started gym classes - spin, boxercise and zumba - oh my gosh soooooo much fun and made tons of friends!!! and i am looking better already - even hubby noticed...yay, i got 15kg to lose so hope i can do it and keep it up when my little bean sticks!!

good luck on TTC and congrats on the new job - its onwards and upwards from here now!!
 
Well according to the docs I have PCOS- but apparantly if I lose weight it should all return to normal so I am counting on that - PRAYING for that really haha
SO today I started low GI diet and yoga, as well as gym membership getting sorted- my goal is 5 lbs a week for 8 weeks which should be enough according to docs to get my cycle started up again . Have been reffered to Gyno so fingers crossed everything goes well :)

well Im gettin on ok with diet, tho no dairy is sooo hard, I need my ice cream fix lol so I need to go to Holland& Barratt to try and find some soy ice cream ( ewwww) so we'll see how that goes! yoga is good for relaxation and I am gettin on ok with exercise. doing OPK every day but nothing yet. Oh and I started taking Agnus Castus , so here's hoping :D Thank god for BAB cause its a godsend, my DH is so happy I have stopped talking 3000 words a min about TTC all day cause I have found this site ! How are you gettin on ?

Soy isn't recommended when trying to conceive
 
i think it will take your mind of trying all day, and only worry about it when you get home, also you might find you lose weight becasue you havent got access to food allday you can only eat on your breaks x
