TTC for 10 years, and time is running out

Yes you read right, 10 years ive had unprotected sex, had chemical pregnancies, and nothing but heart break.

I turn 40 tomorrow. My time is running out and I only have one tube and ovary.

All i want for my birthday and christmas is a baby.

Hi luv, I feel your pain. I am lucky enough to have a daughter (coming up to 7). We've been trying for 5 years for another one. I've found out I have PCOS so to help that I lost 2.5 stone and my periods regulated. After a year I then fell pregnant... Which was ectopic, I had my tube removed and during surgery I found out I had endometriosis. Another year has past, another year of heartache. Friends and family constantly sharing their baby news whilst I put a brave face on it and think 'why can't that be me?'.
My daughter cried on me the other night 'mummy all I want for Christmas is a baby sister!' I literally felt my heart break :'(

I have been taking chinese herbs this month now my period is 7 days late... 3 negative tests later I assume it's just my body playing cruel tricks on me!

Once my period finally makes an appearance I'll be starting clomid. What fertility treatment have you tried?

I was on the first round of clomid when the cyst happened and I am scared to do it again.

My period was been gone almost 3 months, no BFP and I keep thinking...maybe now.

I heard good things about Vitex Fruit or Chasetberry and I think I am going to try that along with Dong Quai.

I have WAY more then 2.5 stone to lose, I am in California in the States, but I have friends in Ireland. Congrads on the 2.5 stone, thats a LOT of weight to drop. I am having bariatric surgery. I am about 21 Stone...its the most I have ever been. I need to drop at least 2 stone to see some progress. How did you manage it??

I know exactly how you feel, we were ttc #2 for 8.5 yrs & 2 dr and a failed adoption later we were finally pregnant. Unfortunately it ended in mc.... When I went to my 2nd dr he told me I needed to loose weight before he would start me on the meds to help with the pcos & get me prego so off to the gym & a diet later I lost 50 lbs & got that bfp.... Now 4 months post mc I am on cd9 and took my last clomid pill last night....


Have you seen a fertility dr yet? Of so have they tried any meds on you yet?

Just the clomid, and that had disasterous effects. The cyst grew bigger then the size of a basketball

I got the name of a Repro. Endocrinologist, I am going to see him next.
I guess for me I really need to loose the weight.

I am going to the gym today.

I had Provera to start my period, and it is so bad right now, but I am useing a pad and I can see that clear liquid is soaking my pad, so I know the cyst ruptured. Which means, if I dont loose weight, my right ovary is in jeperdy too. I lost the left with the gaint cyst.

Not sure where else to go from here.

Have you heard of the 17 day diet? It is more o a lifestyle change but set up to give u structure I needed the structure to help me loose some weight. I am going to get focused on weight loss again as soon as we get back from our trip this weekend...

Really hope the re can help you out. Wow the size of a basketball that had to b rough on you.

The only bad effects the clomid has had on me is hot flashes, emotional & vision flashes.

Yes I bought the book. I lost 50 pounds in 3 1/2 months then I got pregnant & had a mc in aug & my grandfather died two weeks later so have been a little down since then but I am determined to get back focused soon
