Ugh!!!!! Ob office!

so they called my sister (i don't know why tey even had er number, my mom is listed as my emergency contact)
and asked for her to have me call them,
and when i do, they tell me that the docotr was no longer going to be available at the time of my appointment.
an appointment i made 3 weeks ago!!!!!!
and that i would have to reschedule.
i told them i would need to check my mom's schedule and call back and they said that should be fine.
so when i called back just now, they tell me the only available appointmeant is 2 weeks later than my original appointment was!
which is absolutely ridiculous because it's their fault they messed up the schedules!
so now the is 6 weeks between my appointments,
when i'm supposed to be starting to go every 2 weeks!
and i'm just absolutely infuriated!

Wow that is rediculous! They should have called you earlier or something! Thankfully that hasn't happend to me and probably never will. The place I go has 5 doctors and I am supposed to meet with all of them. So far I have met 3. So if one is not availbale they just give me to one of the others. The only change I have had was my appointment was a half hour earlier. But still they should have called you earlier and made like special plans. 6 weeks is a long time! And that is werid that they called your sister.

my place only has one doctor, and i don't know WHY he won't be there for my appointment time, they said he would b there that morning, but there weren't available times! it is just so insane!

if my mom couldn't check LO whenever i get nervous, i would definitely be making a much bigger deal.
i'm just mad because he needs to run test at this appointment and its putting them off an additional two weeks because it's a culture, which i'm not comfortable with my mom doing.
it just seems so unprofessional

And yeah I have 5 women doctors and they want me to meet all of them so then when I am giving birth no matter what I will know the doctor doing it so I don't have a stranger doing it. I like it the idea since you never know who will be on duty when you go into labor. But at the same time I have met 3 of the 5 doctors but only really conected and remember one of them because I have met with her 3 times. The others I don't even remember that well except the first one talks REALLY quietly lol

But thats because she was at the hospital with another woman who was in labor, I would gladly give up my appointment for a week or two, hopefully someone else would be as kind for me.

i'm pretty sure my doctor is on call at all times, as he is private practice.
i hope so, because i would be really uncomfortable having to see a total stranger.

i don't think thet's the situation, although it's possible that maybe they set an inductiondate for that time or something, but my appointment was around 2, so i'm not sure. but if it was for an induction then i would understand.

both my doctors for both my kids had their own offices, so if they cant be there because they have to induce or deliver a baby there isnt anyone else you can see, I dont mind thought because i find it is so personal with her, she is personally invested in us and our family.

I think I do perfer to seeing many people just because then I have met all the possible doctors that would be delievering my baby. I would feel really bad like if there was only one doctor and he had to come in just for me lol, but then again I wouldn't want a stranger doing it. So it has it's pros and cons. I really like one of my doctors and I am hoping she is the one on call when I go into labor but at the same time I don't dislike any of my doctors.

i dunno about my doctor. he's nice enough i suppose, but i feel like he's always wy too busy for me :/
