Hi
I've had to take an unexpected trip back to the UK due to a bereavement. LO is 10 months and is on US Gerber good start gentle, which is partially hydrogenized so easy on the tum. I didn't have enough time to pack loads so can anyone recommend a British brand that is similar?

I'm going to a small town that only has a Sainsburys and Lidl.

I hope I understand this correctly but I think you mean Pepti formula.

Or you also get Comfort milk which has reduced lactose ...

But it sounds like you mean Pepti. You won't just be able to get it from Sainsbury's you will need to get it from somewhere like Boots or a Pharmacy (or Sainsbury's Pharmacy) and they will not always stock it you might need to wait a day for it to be ordered in so I suggest you order it as soon as you arrive. Check if the small town's Sainsbury's has a Pharmacy and they should be able to order it for you?

I have just read up on Gerber good start and I do think Pepti is the equivalent.

ETA - it's quite expensive as here you usually get Pepti milk on prescription.

The comfort milk i have (Cow and Gate comfort) says on the can it contains partially digested things (things with many letters!) to make it easy to digest and reduced lactose. Could this be the same thing? If so its available at all supermarkets and is £10.50.

Thanks. I will check those out! It was hydrolyzed don't know where I got hydrogenized from.
