Some people say formula, some people say artificial
Some people say couch, some people say sofa
Some people say pram some people say stroller

......... it's just what you are accustomed to.

People are not going to change how they naturally word things because of a forum.

i would?
if you told me that you were offended by me saying that your baby was born 'artificially' because you had a c section, then i wouldnt say it to you? in fact, didnt you post a reply in another thread yesterday saying 'id punch someone who told me i hadnt given birth'?
there are people out there who think nothing of calling our children b*****ds because they were born out of 'wedlock' it is the 'correct' term, the dictionary says so, but people would be offended by it, so its not used! come on, you need to look at the bigger picture here!

and also.. its not even the same thing, pram or stroller, its not offending anyone is it?

Did I miss somthing, how on earth did the words pram and stroller get associated with what are ment to be offensive words? :)

HVs saying they cant discuss it is a load of TOSH.

That's such a good leaflet! Why couldn't they have given something like that to me in hospital!!!
I had a leaflet like this with Megan but not with Caitlin although they advised me to give Caitlin a bottle ...

Sorry I loose the plot sometimes, which one is your eldest again?

It's a shame they don't give it out, I got ones about pelvic floor exercises, that's it!

I even had to ask a midwife how to use the steriliser in the hospital :dohh:!

I got a leaflet about positions in labour and when i got to the labour suite they stuck my legs in stirups and put me on my back :dohh:

Did you have a steriliser in the hospital?

I have to say my Hv is no use at the mo cos she has told me not to feed Rhys more that 8oz at a time

So what do I do when he is hungry

Are you allowed your blinkie cherryglitter , its formula not rat poison? which is kinda unfair to people who dong think its rat poison and breastfeed.

I seen them leaflets in mat ward.

aob thinks calling formula artificial feeding is the same as calling a pram a stroller....

SMA arent allowed to advertise their under 6 months milk.

That is it?!!!!?

They are allowed to advertise - just not that specific formula?!!!!!

LOL I had to grasp using a STEAM steriliser. Good job OH was around to take it all in.

I sterilise on auto-pilot now. Don't even think about it!

Removed said blinkie! Just so I don't cause offence to anyone.

It's that easy :)

I dont see how its any different from one that says breastfeeding is not shamefull.

Blinkie wars are not permitted on BnB, many feeding blinkies get removed. We see it on others forums, it's a MESS!

That advert that people originally were complaining about has got people going on and on about it therefore advertising it throughout the thread... just a thought
