Hey - well this evening i have started bleeding very heavily with a lot of cramping. I really feel its over for me to be honest. This is my second early miscarriage in a row and i am really sad and quite worried

Hey - so sorry for the lack of response. Yes it was a miscarriage, i had that heavy bleed and then when i tested the following day there was a hint of a second line but i knew it was all over. I only bled 2 full days in the end, but i had a fair bit of pain and i was very upset, i found this a lot harder than the other one - i think because it indicated that there is a recurrent problem - 2 in a row at exactly the same stage. I have an appointment on Jan 2nd with a really good specialist so i am hopeful i can get some answers early in the new year and try and form a plan of action. I won't give up hope that 2014 holds a baby for me

I hope you're doing ok? And i want to sincerely thank you for your messages and support, i was very confused and upset and it really helped knowing someone else out there had been through the awfully confusing positive negative scenario.

Hi ladies...hope it's ok to jump in on your thread. I just wanted to say sorry Crumble for what you are going through. It took one miscarriage and fertility treatments (IUI) to get pregnant with my son. We are now trying for number two and our fertility doctor thinks we will need IVF this time. Since seeing her though and waiting to sign the consent for treatment, I have had two chemical pregnancies. The last one started with very strong positive tests which kept getting lighter and lighter until I started bleeding on Christmas Eve. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that 2014 is your year. Keep us updated!!

MoBaby and San Diego- congratulations! Your stories are giving people like me hope! I am hoping to start the process of freezing my eggs next month, but I am worried because I now have a low ovarian reserve and I am worried that they will not able to stimulate enough eggs. I really do love reading success stories like yours!!

Hey ange0011, thanks for your lovely message. I am feeling ok - i am in the midst of a load of tests, i am seeing the endocrinologist tomorrow actually. I feel positive that i'm being checked out and hopefully i'll get some answers soon but the fear of the unknown is quite strong and i have moments of sheer panic when i think about what could be. I have been trying just to focus on my son, who brings me happiness every moment and thankfully is a wonderful distraction.

I really hope 2014 is your year also and that it holds a baby for you! Best of luck and please do keep me posted on how you get on. Big hugs xx

Thank you for posting this. At 4 weeks, 4 days, it's still saying 1-2 and I am very concerned. I've seen a lot of people end up miscarrying if it doesn't go up to 2-3 soon, but this REALLY helped for now. So sorry you went through that!

awww I'm so glad it helped you!! honestly, don't trust those tests, they are evil. Mine went down to 1-2 weeks and look at me now - 5.5 weeks till the due date!!! Hope everything goes well for you, if you're concerned ask your GP to check your HCG levels xxx

Im 4+6 today and was hoping to see 2-3wks come up when I tested today but it's still showing 1-2weeks I am a bit worried as I had two mmc last year and they were both slow to progress on the clearblue tests...

Hi threebirds, these early weeks are such a worry aren't they. I started two similar threads last week, one in the IVF group and another in BFP entitled "very low HCG and slow rising" as I'm in the same situation now as I was in November last year when I first joined this post. I was showing 1-2 weeks at 5+2 (yesterday) so doesn't look promising for me but I'm trying to keep the faith and pray it's a late implanter. If you fancied having a read about my HCG and how mathematically I've personally got until 5+4 weeks (tomorrow!!!) before I've got a chance of showing 2-3 weeks on CBD, then I've only started a handful of posts so they should be easy to find. I haven't had my first appointment yet, but I am calling tomorrow to move it up since I've talked to the OB and she said I should (I don't know my dates). I've had two miscarriages in the past. Ive been bleeding every day for most of the 1st trimester and it all worked out perfectly for me. I'm due in 4 weeks and 2 days It was all sorts of colours to be fair, from dark brown & clots to fresh red and new. I am on Fragmin injections for the whole pregnancy and blame them partially (they are blood thinners). Hope everything goes well for you xxx

Really sorry to hear that stuckinoki, these chemical pregancies/early miscarriages are hard as you don't even have a chance to relax to the news that you're pregnant before it's cruely taken away.

Great news threebirds that you're progressing on the CBDs, bet your heart fluttered with joy when you saw the 2-3 weeks appear. Keep us posted xx

I need to take another pg test as the blue dye tests well.... 1 showed pos, 2 showed neg, so I bought a clear blue easy digital as I figured they would be reliable. Now I read this. How the heck am I gonna know for sure. I have a doctor apt on Friday just got insurance so I have to go through the new patient thing. I am going to have to get a blood test. Are any of these tests reliable anymore?

Im feeling kinda in limbo, while I did get 2-3weeks on cb digi at 5wks, ics are still faint Im waiting on another pack of first response & another cb digi to arrive frm amazon, but have tested twice with ics since last digi test & its not looking great x

I'm having the same problem but loosing hope. I know my hcg was 670 a week ago. It should be over 2000 by now and 3+. I'm pretty sure this is over. I'm going to change my dr apt for next week just cause id rather stop taking my progesterone sooner then later. Thanks all

I tested today (6 wks) with fmu & got 3+, but am worried as Ive had brown spotting last couple of days & a little bleed.
