Heya ladies, hope you are all ok x x x
Well, been a month since i saw the FS and he referred us for IVF. DH and I gave up smoking from the minute we left the clinic after being told he'd refer us for IVF...been a wee bit easier than i originally thought - although had cut right down anyway (i know, the a few a day still wasn't ideal and maybe i hadn't been completely honest in the past )but, nope, none since.
Rang the IVF clinic last week and they said they'd not heard from our PCT. So decided to give it the full 4 weeks before ringing FS's secretary to chase up referral. Rang today, and the referral was made on 20th Feb - the lady was lovely and straight away said she'd fax it through (you may remember i had a bit of an altercation with her a few months ago, so this was really nice). So, the referral is now with the clinic, and we just gotta wait for our initial contact - feeling really positive tbh.
I also managed to tell my Dad everything not long ago which was a huge weight off my shoulders. It's a long story, but i never felt i could.
DH and i have had two 'months off' which has been really nice, it's been strange not symptom spotting or testing, but my stress levels have been relatively low!
Thanks for reading my update, i'm hoping to post soon with details of my new journey!
Hugs and dust ladies x x x
