hun i wasnt trying 2 be horrid dnt jump on my back please. i dont no what it is but im telling you what it sounds like. im sorry but only a dr can say whats wrong. but im telling you what i think. iv been there.

After some advice from me Tootsy1987 (Tara) has taken herself off to her local hospital to demand a scan from them to see whats going on, what worrys me is she had some shoulder pain in one side the other day now this it could be ectopic, she will be keeping me informed by test and I will keep you girls imformed as I know, Really have my fingers crossed for you toots babe, hope everything is fine with you and your little bean is in there hanging on in the right place :hugs: xx

That test this morning wasnt a asda test was it by any chance? I had a very similar line on a asda test that come up in 2 min and it was confirmed by my doctor to be a evap and i have heard of a few get a false reading on them, However there is a line so i do hope you got on ok at the hospital. X

Oh and i dont think tracie was being offensive or anything i think its just hard for ppl to give advice when really your doctor is the only one that can tell you whats going on.

Tracie wasnt trying to be offensive, chill out. She's one of the nicest members on here and she's already apologised for her post coming across the wrong way. I'm sure she was just worried about the bleeding.

Hope everything is ok hun.

And there it is, the lovely FIRST RESPONSE test again.

Can I share my opinion? I personally saw no pink lines other than the control line, I know Im not alone in this as some others have said that they didnt see anything either.

I have been in this situation and I thought I had a miscarriage too. Turns out I possibly wasnt pregnant to begin with. DRs advise women NOT to test til 1 week after their missed period because sometimes the egg does not implant properly and will result in having a PERIOD. This does not mean you had a miscarriage, it simply means that things didnt go to plan so therefore your period started due to implantation failiure.
I dont think she is having a miscarriage. I have been in this situations time and time again.
I wish her all the best but personally I dont believe she was ever pregnant judging by those tests. Im sorry if that offends or upsets anyone but you asked people to look at the photos, and we have, and personally I cannot see one test out of those photos that tells me you are, or ever were pregnant.
Save yourself the heartache, you have NOT miscarried. I think its your period.
Best of luck if you are actually pregant, I hope all is well with the baby.

PS: I just seen the asda test that resulted in a faint line. That happened to me when I was on my period.
This is why I will not take anymore tests. They are useless.

I agree with not testing early. I mean, I test early too...and, I swear I had very very faint lines for a couple days, but then my period came. All it means to me is either an evap, or perhaps implantation didn't work. I can understand being upset like it is a m/c tho, if you have gotten your hopes up and started to believe that you were pregnant. I have been doing this long enough that I don't believe a pregnancy until after AF is due anyways and a digital says "PREGNANT". I am sure that is very devestating all the same when you have your hopes up and then AF arrives; I am sure we can all appreciate that. I hope that you are OK hon, take care and let us know how you are doing.

Tara has had some bloods taken, just waiting to hear what they are going to do now x

I have done it so many times-
testing too early can result in alot of heartache. I was devestated because I thought I had lost a baby. It broke my heart, but then I sat down with my care provider and she explained to me exactly what happens and why I may have been getting positive tests and then I begun to bleed.
Implantation problems does not mean miscarriage. Not exactly, anyway!
It is generally something a woman picks up on when her tests are not getting any darker. This is how I knew something was wrong, and when I went to the DR it was completely negative. No explanation, no nothing- just "Im sorry, you are not pregnant".
Yes, it hurt, but I learned from then on not to take HPT's, unless its at a DRs.

She is having her bloods checked by the hospital now, they have said they think its either a miscarriage or ectopic so now its just a waiting game  xx

They didnt do any of that with me when I had the same problem. How bizarre.

I know you are trying to make her feel better and its kind. Most women on here are seasoned pros at TTC as you know and Chemical pregnancies which you are referring to can be just as devastating as a 1st tri MC to some ladies.
Depending on beliefs when the egg is fertilised some women see that as pregnancy, the fact that it didnt implant doesnt make it any easier. Im not trying to suggest you thought it did it just seemed that way a bit.
My heart goes out to her in a massive way. Its so easy to say 'Im not testing til im late etc' but when youre so desperate that can seem impossible everyone has different control levels.

I couldnt see anything on IC's but can on the FRER and they arent known for falsies. I hope that they get her sorted soon so she can get home and rest, whatever the outcome she'll need to come here and read messages of support.

Thinking of you chick x
