So I'm about 2 minutes into the season finale of Teen Mom and I'm already like WTF.....Farrah's birthday cake for Sophia!???? How craptastic was that? I thought she wanted to be a famous chef! Shouldn't she have a few more skills in the creative and artistic department? Wow. I would have made a better looking cake when I was 8.

More to come as I continue to watch. :)

lol, didn't you catch the fact that she was studying culinary MANAGEMENT? She made it seem like she was going to be a chef in earlier episodes, but when she was graduating, thats what she said she had studied.

Though I will say pastries is a whole different category of food, not all chefs are highly skilled at pastry. (but they shouldnt suck, eitheer)

Yeah I was surprised when she said she got her degree in culinary management because I thought she was in chef school! I remember her homework assignments from last season, like having to make a pizza (superhard, I know).

I cannot imagine anyone that I would dislike more as my manager than Farrah. She doesn't know her head from her butt half the time.

LMAO! If the first 2 minutes are this good, I can't wait to see what'll happen in the rest of the episode (I only got the first 2 minutes in because my baby decided to feed and then we have had a crazy busy day....hoping to get more in tomorrow...thank goodness for PVRs!)

It was such a good episode!!! Wish the season wasn't over :( Atleast there's still the reunion special :D x

I agree...I'm going to miss watching my trashy TV every Wednesday/Thursday morning....did anyone watch the Teen Dads special? Thoughts?

I've got it dvr'd next week. I'll have to see if it's on before that!

I need to record it when its on again.. bummed I missed it!

you can find it on mtv.com :)

I watched parts of it.

In season finale, anyone else notice it was odd how upset Ryan was that Maci didn't want to see him anymore? That's a definite sign of feelings not resolved...

lol.. I always felt like Ryan still had feelings for her but she has none for him.

I think he doesn't want her to move on .. I think it makes him upset that she's happy with Kyle. Ever notice how he always calls Kyle names? Like "slow" or assuming that it's all Kyle's fault that Maci wants to change the custody agreement? Jealous much? :winkwink:

Yeah Ryan is not over Maci, thats for sure.

Tyler and Catlyn were boring this episode (really they were all season) It was more of just a "whats up with them". There wasn't much as far as updates about Carly, or a visit with her, and I think there was only one episode where they were talking to Brandon and Theresa.

I have to say that I was surprised(and sort of happy) that Amber FINALLY stepped up and said NO to jumping back into a relationship. Maybe she is finally getting smarter!

Farrah: I felt so torn about her leaving Sophia behind. I kind of felt like, okay it makes sense to leave her behind while she makes the big move, finds a place and gets unpacked, finds a daycare for Sophia, etc. But I mean like, only leaving her for maybe 2 weeks, a month at most. Just because that long drive with a baby would suck, and you know how first nights in new places go, where your sleeping on the floor and eating fast food. Not a good place for a baby. But I hope she wasn't planning on leaving her for more than just that time period.

But than again, we know she didn't because we saw the update about her having a boyfriend and Sophia was with them and they were in Florida.

Finale - geez Amber.. nice hooker shoes! Gary just makes me sick.. it was interesting to hear Dr. Drew place some blame on Gary.

Farrah - I'm glad she's taking Sophia with her.. how bout her mom be supportive instead of always trying to tell her how her plans will fail? Sure, she's a dumbass and doesn't really realize the difficulties, but her mom just tears her down when she brings that stuff up instead of offering to help her find a good daycare etc.
I don't know how Farrah ever agreed to it in the first place since she couldnt handle a weekend modeling gig without her daughter around!

She wouldn't need to be in full-time childcare unless Farrah also has to work a job with school. Childcare/daycare can be great, loving environments and help with socialization.
Heck, I invited the woman who used to watch me to my wedding! Daycare is hardly ever the scary stuff you see on the news!
I think it would be a lot harder on Sophia to not have her mom around than to be in daycare instead of spending the day with her grandparents.

And I was pissed to see they cut it into 2 weeks, lol.. I was panicked thinking my DVR cut it off or the programming was listed wrong and it didn't catch the 2nd half!
(how cute was Sophia on those previews? :) )

I was worried too that my DVR didn't record it. Then I realized it was in two episodes. But why next week? They've never done that before!?

I'm glad Dr Drew was pretty straight forward with Gary and placing some blame on him. Though I still think Amber is crazy, this season I felt like she was sort of trying, and that he was just pushing her buttons. Like with the whole birthday party thing. His excuse now is because he didn't want the two families together? It didn't sound like her family was invited at all and it was just amber going anyway, and Gary told Amber the day before that she couldn't come. And you can tell that Amber didn't have time to put a party together for Leah.

Farrah's mom makes me so mad. She should be supportive of her daughters decisions. I realize they are going to miss Sophia, but they are the grandparents, not the mother. Most grandparents dont' see their grandbabies every day anyway!
