Hey Ladies. This business of TTC is quite involved I must say.
I've found all sorts of info on this site.
First off, does anyone who has PCOS use OPK's and if so are they accurate/do they work...which ones do you use?
Are any of you on Soy and Clomid and Maca or any combination of those three?
I'm on Maca and am about to start Clomid.
I'm TTC my first, so this is all new to me.
I know about the charting off the BBT but I know a lot of ladies that get too stressed when doing that...and I know that virtually eliminates your chance of BFP...stress is bad...and I'm quite chill right now, hence I'd prefer a OPK.

Your help would be greatly appreciated ladies!

Happy BD'ing to you all! May we all get our BFP soon!

Hey!

I have PCOS and am on Clomid. I use the CB digital OPKs, I always get my smiley face on CD15 (take Clomid days 2-6). I found other OPKs harder to be sure of positives.
Theyre expensive but half the price on ebay.
Baby dust x x

I have PCOS with elevated LH levels so I often get false positives. This cycle I already got a positive OPK on CD11 yet haven't ovulated!

Im on Clomid (days 2-6) and today is CD15

I hope OPKs work for you!!

I have PCOS and am on Clomid CD2-6, and opks and CBFM works for me.
The opks I use is:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001G7STT0/ref=pd_luc_mri?ie=UTF8&m=A4DI4ZJ5WTRP7

I don't have elevated LH.

I've used OPKs, I have a bunch of the cheapies and I use them until I get a positive and then I confirm the positive with a CB digital...because I love seeing that smiley face!

I just started my first round of Clomid so I'm not sure how that will affect OPKs or not.

However, getting a positive OPK does not guarantee that you will ovulate, it just means that the levels of LH are right for ovulation. So even if you get a positive it doesn't mean that you ovulate....damn PCOS! *shakes fist* The way to know for sure is (in my case) three ways: 1) tracking BBT to see the temperature shift, 2) ultrasounds on CD12 to see if follicles are developing, and 3) blood work on CD21 to check progesterone levels.
