Did you delay your baby's vaccinations?

Elias received his first set of vaccinations the day before he left the hospital, at 2 months old. We refused the Hep B vaccine, because we think it's unnecessary, but they went behind our backs and gave it to him anyway. :growlmad:

He's due for his next set on the 16th of March, but we're thinking about delaying them. Has anyone done this?

Our vaccination program is based on actual age here there is no delays for prems. Hep B isn't in the agenda where I am though although it might be like TB in that it is given in some areas where it is prevalent.
I didn't delay Jamie's, and he will be having his next lot (MMR) when it's due around 12 months age (actual) I think.
Are you concerned about Elias having them?

I didn't delay my lo either although she had her first 2 in the hospital and her last one at the clinic when she was home. She got her 12 month ones last month and is due her mmr next week.

If she handled the first one fine I don't think there would be any benefit delaying but you should do what you feel comfortable with.

Definatley a thing you should decide yourself in the end, but we stuck with the vaccinations at actual age.

I suppose that means that you could go by actual, or request corrected or later? So maybe you have a few options to discuss with the nurse/GP/neonatal

They have just had their 3rd set at actual because thats what we were told!
