walkie talkies 3 yo

can anyone recommend walkie talkies for a 3yo boy?

I had the toy story ones in my basket on amazon but the reviews arent great.

I got Hayden the elc ones last year - they were fine, but he couldn't really get the hang of them, and then he left them switched on and killed the batteries!

They are all crap we currently have the hake and the never land pirates ones and they are utter rubbish

They produce nothing but static

We have had a few sets that have all been rubbish, Molly was obsessed with them, but you couldn't hear a thing. (I also found at 3, she couldn't get the hang of holding down the button to talk and releasing it to listen).

If you really want a walkie talkie don't buy ones aimed at children (character ones) as they are all rubbish. We got these for my nephew (think he was 5 or 6) and they work great.
