Walking?

What is classed as walking??

My LO has been standing unaided for a few weeks now and this evening, shuffled a few steps. Cue lots of screaming from me and daddy. But is this walking or do we wait until he is sturdier??

I think you will get different responses from different people

For me it was when Hannah was walking, albeit a bit wobbly, about half of the time and crawling the rest.

She took her first step on Father's day and than did nothing for a few weeks, and than started to take more and more steps

Well we'll class that as walking then yay!

I can't wait till he gets up in the morning now so he can wander round the living room some more. He had such a good time today

Aww good for him!! I definitely think the first few steps is just the start of walking but still walking nonetheless.
