Wanting to stop breastfeeding

Hi. I am wanting to stop breastfeeding and am wondering how I could start bottle feeding. I have NEVER given my LO a bottle so do not know if she will take it! What do I need to buy for bottle feeding? Thanks

You might have a hard time with it,i suggest buying different nipples to see which one your baby will take. There's different kinds of formula similar to breastmilk and bottles like tommee tippee closer to nature, You'll just have to research until you find what's best for the baby. It can be difficult weaning a baby off bm. Goodluck.

thanks for your help! today i gave her a botte and it took a few goes but we got there i am now giving her less breastfeeds and abnd more bottle feeds

Congrats on getting your LO to take the bottle

I went from BF to FF at 3 months when I went back to work.
One thing I will say. If you do it gradually then you don't suffer with engorgement.

If your LO is 7 months old she doesnt need to have a bottle, it could be in a cup which might be easier since you dont have to get her used a bottle to take it from her in a few months.
