Washable wipes - what fabric?

I have a load of bamboo wipes for my lo's bottom. but now we have started weaning I would love to get a set of wipes to use as washcloths.
What fabric do you find best?
- flannel
- fleece
- bamboo

I prefer bamboo terry on one side so you can give things a really good scrub and cotton velour on the other. Fleece is the worst of the lot for me, just smears things around and doesn't clean bums or faces!

I like wipes that are bamboo fleece on one side and bamboo velour on the other.

Great thread@ Ive been meaning to ask the same cos I use an old cut up fleece bklanket but hoping to make different one that scrub off more poo!
