weaning questions

hi all.

when u first start weaning how many spoonfulls are you suposed to try?
i gave hera whole rusk with milk mushed up and she ate the lot.....
is this to much for the first time?

How old is your LO? I'm not sure about rusks as I won't be giving them, but I think in general, you should just give a couple of teaspoons of solids at first.

Josh was the same, he ate all his baby rice from the get go. He was alright tho, but be careful cos too much too soon can make them constipated x

I followed the Hipp weaning plan which was really useful...they tell you to start with a spoonful and then slowly increase the amount you give. It worked great for us as my LO didnt take to weaning immediatly. xx
