Wedding venue cost

I'm still paying for my wedding we took it a 5 year loan. I don't regret it one bit. Best day of my life without doubt. I only plan to do it once so make it memorable! ( however no one, even you, remembers if you had chair covers or expensive take centres. Some if the little things cost a lot but make little difference.it's a question of balance and what is really important.

I think the venue is charging us £450 for room hire? We're only having 14 guests though so this probably doesn't help much.

I've seen plenty of packages for around £3000 for bigger weddings which includes room hire, wedding breakfast, drinks and lots of other things though so 2800 does sound alot!
