Weird spot on test same colour as control

Hi ladies, I apologise if I’m not posting in the correct spot.
Has anyone used the coles brand pregnancy tests?
I thought I had a line on a frer yesterday but when I did another this morning it was negative. So I tried the coles one.
At first I thought it was just negative so put it aside. Later on I looked at it and noticed a pinky/purple spot directly between the two windows but closer to test window so opened it ( I know you shouldn’t) and the spot is the exact same colour as the control line. It looks like an indent where it is too.
So it’s a dark purple/pink circle/spot.
Is it possible the test line is in the wrong spot or it’s faulty. It’s weird. Anyone else have this happened?
I can’t get a good pic but will try.

Its probably an indent on the test where the dye has pooled

It might be a dye run. I would try another test. Good luck
