What are follicles? How do i know when i can get pregnant? is there something wrong?
So here's the story, I have been off of birth control completely since August 2012. I had a normal period until about November it was a steady 4 days and 31 days between. I was able to track them no problem but since December they have been all out of wack! my period was 4 days late in December so we decided to take a trip to the doctors, not pregnant! THEN i did not get a period at all in January and instead got it February 6, again normal 4 days. However i was having a huge amount of discomfort in my lower abdomen where my ovaries are. So i made an appointment to get an ultra sound and i did. She said i had a lot of good looking follicles and that everything looked great. She said this summer we can do further testing to see why i have not yet gotten pregnant. But at this point we're okay with not getting pregnant yet i just want to know what my body is doing? Again my period is late this month..


Any thoughts? Any similar things happen to anyone?

I have tried tracking my ovulation but because my period is so all over the place it seems like an impossible task My doctor is in the midst of tracking me as well, and i should have been most fertile from 2/19-2/22 She also told me to try all this week, and we have been very busy! Ever seen No Strings Attached? This has been us for 2 weeks! Not that im complaining. I have not checked this site out in some time though, i will read up now.

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, i will give you a bit of background.

Me and my OH have just started TTC. We were uncareful once and after building ourselves up that i was pregnant when the time of the month came i came on we were shocked at how dissapointed and sad we felt. We had a chat a few days later about things and decided we were stable and financially able to have a baby Soooo here we are! We are having sex every night (this will 100% wear off soon,although my OH is loving life) and i ovulated a few days ago. So fingers crossed,its all very exciting and i cant wait to be a Mumma! Any tips advice or anything you think i should know please please write to me,i have googled up everything and anything to do with TTC/babies and of course im an expert now but no honestly. Please helpppp

My periods are also all over the place and although tracking hasn't really resolved too many questions for me for now, it will definitely give the doctors more info when I go to the specialist...I know you say your doctor is tracking for you but it will be more beneficial if YOU track since you can track CM and OPKs on a daily basis (which your doctor can't) plus it's good if you do the work and get to know your own body before you ask, basically, a stranger to figure it out for you. good luck to you and hopefully your cycles even out still hoping mine do soon!

Also, I highly recommend the book Leah mentioned and the FF site...I use both

Pdubs. Nothing new. This will be our 4th cycle since mc and I believe we missed our window one cycle (over Christmas) so really only had two shots so far. Will continue temps and cm but that's enough for me.

Still waiting for AF and going to see fertility specialist on the 21st so we will see what he says but I have picked up EPO and SI to try, but want to discuss with him first, and also don't want to do anything to "mess up" my test results.....so for now just sitting and waiting and testing every few days since AF hasn't shown and I'm pretty sure I O'd at the end of February...should be positive by now if I am so I'm sure I'm not but gotta hope

my cycle is 33 days, i had intercourse during ovulation, before 7 days of my period i had very light bleeding that last just for an hour, then after 3 days i had very vey small amount of brown discharge for about 2 days, every evening i m having headache, on and off sharp pain in my abdomen at different places, sometimes i feel as some food has stucked in my esophegus, and my stomach growls even after eating, i dont get sleep at night and sometimes i keep awake since morning and i feel very hungry at midnight, i am having cold also since 2 days, sometimes feel very mild nausea but no vomit (this is very rare). my period is due on 18th March after 2 days.
can i be pregnant? i am waiting for replies kindly help me.

I peaked at your chart and it looks like you did. Although without temping or ultrasound you can't be 100% sure. Some women get all the other signs but it never actually happens. Otherwise 18 high temps (or past o) would imply pregnancy. My SIL didn't get her positive until a week after that. Not common but happens.

So the got me this morning, but minimal cramps (I'm usually quite uncomfortable) and very light when usually either medium or heavy day one. But negative test yesterday at 12 DPO. Weird. Wish things would just settle already.

And I've been in quite a good mood despite crazy day at work, trying a new recipe for dinner that I didn't end up liking. Weird. Lol

And so is life.

I've been there. I found it helpful to test every couple of days. Everyday was too stressful as hard as it is to wait!

Pregnant or stomach bug? I'm 9 days late but January I didn't have a period at all! My last period was February 6. I'm nauseas, I have the sweats, I'm exhausted, moody, and I have an excessive amount of saliva in my mouth. I was holding off on testing because my doctor said to wait a month before testing. But I don't know, I feel terrible and the bug is going around my work and also friends and family. I usually have a very high immune system and very rarely get sick.
Anyone have any ideas or been in the same boat?

I just got my husband to talk about having a baby, and he is accepting of wanting to have a baby now. So we are just TTC and I'm a bit confused lol, I get all of this do this but you shouldn't do that. it's so frustrating because I'm not sure what to do, I had at one point thought I was, but that turned out to be a false alarm. So now we are just waiting every month to see and I'm not sure what else to do....

I'm 12dpo and when I wiped after peeing this morning I have a few small glob of yellow gelatinous cm on the toilet tissue. I thought it was weird so I checked cm and cp and pulled out a huge piece of stretchy, yellowish clear cm with a barely noticeable smear of blood in it. Took a test yesterday and got a bfn.... Am having really bad back pain, like I'd get when AF is due only a lot worse... Help please??
