Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Grey Eyes,

Hi! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas! :xmas6:

How did your appointment go with your doctor on December 5th? I've been thinking about how you were. :hugs:

Where to start
My name is Tracy and I’m 39 for another 12 weeks at which point I’ve decided I’m going to be 27 again and stay that age for ever. DH is 32 and we’ve been together for over 3 years but married for just 6 months. :hugs:
BCP were stopped on Christmas eve and we are actively TTC. DH is in the army and has 6 months in Afghanistan this year so we need to get our skates on or there’s going to be a huge dry spell mid year. If we do get a BFP then I’m going to be on my own for most of it which will be hard but we will make it work. The CBFT gave a nice pink yesterday so tests due on the 12th fingers crossed but not too tightly as this soon after BCP it’s unlikely

Hi and welcome!

Deployment is never easy on anyone and TTC during, can make you crazy, lol.

I hope your DH comes home safely.:hugs:

OMG! D mon congrats!!!!! I just read your spoiler. Gives me hope. I have seen you around since I started up here around may so you my dear have paid your dues!!!!

Hi ladies , can I join the club aswell please? I am 34 and ttc baby number 1. Tried once last month and got BFN and my AF..so looking forward to this month :)

Hello everyone,

I am 35 and 8 months. DH and I have been NP for 23 months now after coming off the nuvaring. I have been browsing different ttc sites now for about a month now. I still don't understand much about the whole process, charts and symptoms. I don't test much either.
Its nice to read the success stories and to see the hope that ladies have despite all they go through.
I am hoping to have some company and support on my journey, and also to be able to give back what I receive.

Hello All,
I am very, very new to the idea of forums and such. I will do my best to fit in!

I am 40 and TTC baby #2 with dh who is 42. My DD is 15 in February so it will be quite a spread. This will be baby #1 for dh.

We did a lot of pre-con testing and both of us are good to go and healthy. My doc said that it should be as easy for me to conceive as when I was in my late 20's. So I am 8 DPO now and the wait is KILLING me!! Super tender breasts and gassy and naps in the morning... this all started a few days ago... might be symptoms but could just be extreme pms too, right? Any suggestions on when to test? (do I have to wait until AF is due?) Any tips on best tests to try? Any ideas are welcome!

Hey great site.am new here and trying 4 baby number three,my eldest 14 and 12,thought i was done years ago but every few months i get this deep longing for a child but always pushed it aside, turned 40 and i have decided to atleast try and get my miracle,1st ttc this cycle and 5dpo and already going crazy,i have every imaginable symptom so i guesse it a wait and see..::haha:

Well this is my first time writing on a forum. I have been reading them for 6 months now.Hoping to connect with some ttc's and hopefully we will all get our BFP's soon.

Hi,
As I said this is my first time so I will give a little history of myself. I am 42 and ttc #3 I have a 9year old and an 8 year old. Started ttc May got pregnant in Aug. and had a MMC Nov./2011. Had to have a D and C. We were told to wait for 1 regular cycle but decided that we wouldn't try but also not prevent either. HAd a chemical pregnancy. Now on CD6 of the next cycle. Hopefully this is my month!! Baby dust to all!!

hello! thanks for your post. I'm coming up 37 so it is encouraging to hear that at 40 your doc can actually say that you are in good shape to get pregnant! I've been trying 6 months now since my second mc so I'm really hoping I get a BFP soon and this time it all works out okay.
:dust:

Thanks twist 5. I'm cd 7 today so it looks like we will be ovulating near the same time? Let's hope for the BFP. Although I am with you after a loss,it's hard to get too excited until you get past the first trimester. Unfortunately my MMC happened at 12 weeks so I had just started telling people. I think next BFP I will be nervous until I have the baby in my arms. Happy bding! By the way is anyone here taking coQ10 as a supplement?

Good Morning Ladies! I am going nuts! About 10 dpo so too soon to test, but have loads of symptoms (gassy, tired, irritable, weepy and awfully sore breasts!) I am worried it's all in my head even though gassy, tired, weepy and sore breasts are not normal pms for me. Glad this forum is here for us and I wish loads of baby dust for everyone!
