Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

"Do you believe I got him to bd the day after I didn't want to miss an opportunity"

O my gosh are you serious? LOL! That's too funny, but hey- what other choce did he have, right?!:haha:

I live in Idaho in the U.S.--it gets cold here and we are seriously considering moving to a warmer location:) I absolutly worshipped this last summer, I laid in the sun every chance I got, now it's back to Brrrrr :) I grew up in Alaska though, so not that bad!

P.S. I have all my fx'd for you!!!Can't wait til Friday (?) are you testing 11dpo or?.....
Wow you're really not that far. It is cold here but I am close to the ocean so it moderates the climate quite a bit. We had snow 2 weeks ago:wacko:
I would be living in Hawaii if I lived in the States:thumbup:
I will test Fri or Sat depending on what I feel. I can usually tell and won't test if I don't think:shrug:

Dh and I talk about moving to Hawaii all the time! He used to live there but said it drove him crazy after a whiile living on a tiny island...so maybe an extended routine vacation? :haha:

AFM-

4dpo...temp was 98.1 this morning. I set an alarm so that I wake up at the same time. I use my phone and recorded my little two year old saying her prayers - that's my alarm :) That way, since dh is so used to tuning the kids out at night (for some reason they demand me at night:wacko: ) my alarm won't wake him up.

Philomena- thaks for your positive mesages, they keep me hopeful!

Marathongirl- How are feeling today? 10dpo, right? (drumming my fingers.......)
Sounds like everyone is doing well. I have a whole day with dh and no kids!!:happydance: of course why couldn't this happen while I was in my fertile phase? Oh well. We went for a nice walk:winkwink:

Grey eyes- temp sounds good! Yay only another week or so and you can test! How do you feel?

Philomena- I'm glad you are back in the game!

AFM- temp 98.0 it really seems to fluctuate. I've learned not to read too much into temp it can cause a lot of stress  still feeling positive. Fx'd for all of us!!

Thanks do much Grey eyes!! I will be so happy when we both have our BFP's!!! I have been thinking about it do much I know it has to happen. Off to dinner with dh!

Updates ladies!? Symptoms?:shrug:Changes?:shrug:Complaints?:shrug:Wonderings?

Lol, AFM- nothing to report....98.2 temp this morning. Changes, hmm...I did wake up with lower tummy mild cramping pains last night. First thought flashed through my mind was implantation but that's probably wishful thinking! I am only 5dpo today. I guess it could happen but that egg'd have to be a sprinter! :)
Complaints: my rotten little 2 year old (I love her :) ) woke me up at 4 a.m. to yell at me because I wasn't sleeping in her bed. (rolling my eyes). I humor her antics to a certain extent then I simply tell her "Mama's getting mad, you better go to sleep in hurry kiddo!" And it's cute, she slams her head to the pilow, tucks up her knees and is out like a light! I shoulda tried that sooner.....

Feeling great again today, will probably spend most of it doing school (I am in my bachelors of criminal justice) and outdoors if it stays nice. :)

Fill me in ladies!:hugs:
That's great your temp is creeping up every day! I'm thinking this is your month! I've heard when you "know" you feel calm. Wow that must be busy trying to do school with 2 little ones? I know when people ask me how I will do it with a baby I just say I will deal with that when it happens. I do have a really busy life but I know I will manage. Some of my triathlete friends think I'm going to go crazy not being able to train but I know I can always go it again later :winkwink:

AFM- stomach feeling a bit crampy but not ad cramps. Plus I don't usually get cramps til after ad starts:shrug: also noticed some blue veins in my bbs last couple of days.
Fx'd for all of us. Stay positive and enjoy the ride:hugs:

"Stay positive and enjoy the ride"

I love that! I'm gonna keep that as my personal motto :)

Yes, having children totally changes your life but for the better. Anything you end up having to give up is replaced by something so much greater! :hugs:

Are you feeling anything different these days? Do you have a symptom that is different when you are preggo? I guess it might be too early to tell right now? Did you know when you had your last BFP? I know lots of questions:shrug:
I have a feeling it will be very soon for us!:hugs:

That's awesome Grey eyes! I think the fact you feel awesome is great regardless of anything else! You have a lot to be happy about as we all do. That is one thing when I am feeling down to remember what you are grateful for. Wow that is so powerful. It doesn't mean we can't wish and strive for more.....
AFM- I am pretty good as well. I have my moments though. Sometimes the weather can affect my mood. We have had some sun the last free days so I feel a little more upbeat! As you said I will always be positive for the next cycle if it's not this one. We will get there that I know!

I love reading all these positive messages! it is sounding good for all of us. I was in the store today, too, and thought about picking up some tests, but then just didn't. I have super sore bbs but it was the same last cycle, so not reading too much into just that. I don't feel anxious this cycle... maybe all the support and sharing with ladies who know what I'm going through makes all the difference? I am excited as we are all pretty close in our cycles too.... wouldn't it be great if we suddenly all got our BFP's?? Feeling good, girls.... feeling good!
Phil.

It helps to have other ladies to talk with and get supoprt- I know for me that prevents me laying awake at night wondering about symptoms, etc...you gize have all helped me out so much with temping, everything- it helps a ton!

LOL at the pregnancy test! I almost did then I thought "I won't be able to use it for a week or so anyway" I think you and I are pretty close as far as dpo....marathongirl gets to check sooner though (hint hint) :)

Good morning ladies. Soooo well I woke this morning and took my temp and it definitely dropped a bit. I was quite surprised as I was feeling so good this month. I'm not expecting af to show up until Sunday. I tested anyway with FMU because I couldn't help myself and it was definitely positive. It was a faint line but definitely there. I am feeling a bit discouraged about my temp. I have had a few chemical pregnancies like this before so am not getting too excited. I guess for me I want to know that conception is taking place evn if I end up with af because I know that we are timing everything right and it's just a matter of catching the right eggy??Any thoughts would be appreciated?

How are you today Grey eyes?I have a good feeling about you this month.

Marathongirl-

Your pregnancy test came up positive??!!! Yay! It's definately enough to get excited about! :) Don't write it off as chemical just because of your temp--from what I have read temping can be off for a variety of reasons! What about your temp would suggest chemical?? Mine was at 98.1 at 0600 this am but up to 98.2 by 0930, so  not sure what it all means just yet but still holding fairly steady. Does small dips like 98.2 98.3 98.2 make a difference? Could it just be off timing or something? Here is my pattern for the last few days "97.5 )ovulation day, 97.9, 97.9, 98.0, 98.1, 98.2, 98.1 (0630) 98.2 (0930).

Sooo excited about your positive! TAKE IT EASY! No jumping around! :):haha:

BTW- how many dpo are you so I know when to test? You are 11 today? :) Also- what type of test did you use???

So sad AF just reared her ugly head:cry: Two days early which is very strange for me. As I've said before my cycles have still been a bit off since my mc. Another chemical pregnancy which makes 3 since ttc.So in 9 months 3 chemicals and a MMC at 12 weeks. I'm trying really hard to stay positive bit it's very hard. I know it will work out one of these times I just want it to happen now.I am 12dpo today and I used a first response early test.
As for your temp that is perfectly normal to fluctuate a bit like that.Mine can be 98.3 one day and 98.0 the next. I was quite surprised to see the dip today it was 97.8 the lowest it's been during this lp.

Well I can just hope and pray for you and Philomena now:thumbup: I hope this is your month. I will stick around as I'm not done trying:winkwink:

Marthongirl-

Could it be implantation bleed:shrug:? I am not fully versed in chemical pregnancies but I am going to study it. Either way you are timing everything just right. Keep positive!! My mc was also at 12 weeks but I know we have healthy babies ahead!

Unfortunately I think it's too late for implantation bleeding:cry: I am a positive person but I think this isn't my month. If you read about chemicals I think they are quite common and if we weren't so obsessed and testing early we wouldn't really know we were pregnant and af would show up.It's just I would rather know that conception was happening even if it doesn't stick.Does that make sense?
How are you feeling today?:winkwink:
