Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

I'm feeling good...no ms at all, and this progesterone doesn't seem to be giving me any side effects either:shrug: I am getting tired though. I seem to be yawning all day long! Even with getting 10 ours of sleep last night. I usually only sleep 6-7 so I got lucky :) Tonight will be my 4th day on progesterone. It is giving me greater hope though, as I am thinking even if my levels were okay  it can't hurt. And I am thinking that they must have been low.

Glad you're feeling good:flower: I will definitely think about the progesterone when I get my BFP!!! I just need to get through the next week. I sometimes find myself looking ahead in the week and thinking hmmm how will we find time to bd exactly when we need to:shrug: we always seem to though.

I know I feel alot better by taking it...I wonder if your doctor would prescribe it early (once you ovulate) to help the endometrium thicken in case that's why your beanie didn't stick? Not telling you what to do just trying to think helpfully:hugs: Maybe if you start it early it can help  Awesome thing is so far no side effects Phew! :) Got my fx'd for you for sure! You and dh need to sneak off somewhere...

Grey eyes- You're too funny. We always seem to manage but not without me stressing about it first! I think we will try tonight and then wait for me to get a pos opk which shold be Wed. I think I will o one day earlier this cycle just a feeling and my opk was darker than it was last cycle on cd11??
How are you today?

I'm good! Jumping the gun and shopping maternity stuff...just one awesome top... What's a girl to do? :haha: I saved all of my stuff from my last two pregnancies so these are just splurges. Since I am small it is super hard to find maternity wear. My dh went to the "little girl fat section" (as he called it) and found jeans that fit me perfect at 8-9 months! So I saved those.

Sounsd like you are going to O soon- glad you're opk'ing. Have you ever tried the digitals? I LOVE them! I use the strips to guess when I am getting close then I shop ebay for cheap digi's. They are so accurate in determining your surge. That's what I used last month so it helped me alot. A bit more spendy but well worth it.

How are you feeling? Staying positive and focused it sounds like! I am worrying about Philomena, I haven't heard from her in a while?!
I'm doing well thanks. Staying positive and knowing that it will happen soon:thumbup: I do feel that. I thought about that the other day as well,we haven't heard from Philomena:shrug:
That sounds like so much fun shopping for maternity. I didn't quite get there with my last pregnancy. I think maybe all along I know something wasn't right:shrug: Can't wait to hear how your pregnancy progresses:hugs:

Aw, you guys are sweet. I've been offline for the last few days. No baby for me this cycle. I've been bummed out. But we've got an appointment at the fertility clinic on Wednesday so maybe they can figure out what's going on. Family doc says I'm good to go and my DH has 'rockstar' swimmers.... so why no baby yet? *sigh*
At least this period was normal- I like a good, spontaneous normal period. Gives me more hope that my body is still working right.
I suspect that there is a problem with my ovulation.
So that's my update.
I am glad to see things are going well, Grey Eyes.... it continues to give me hope! Marathongirl, I'm working at staying positive too!
Thanks, ladies!

Glad to hear all is well! "Rockstars" I like that  Have you tried temping to verify that your egg releases each month? Wow, when marathongirl sort of taught me the process it really helped to clarify things for me. Keep us updated on your appt. day after tomorrow! Now you got me wondering what your doc will say :) You'll get your bfp soon- and it'll surprise you! :hugs:

I know what you mean. I cried when af showed up this last cycle:cry: I was feeling so positive. As you said though we will have our baby when it's the right time and it will be the right baby for us:thumbup: I know it will happen but I am getting a little impatient. I also feel that this last af was back to normal since my mc 3 months ago. This gives me hope that we are back on track:thumbup: What cycle day are you now? Fx'd and keep us upated. I am also going to a FS on Thursday for a follow up. I had a bunch of bloodwork done a month ago.

Good morning Grey eyes- How are you today. I noticed you were up quite late. You said you work late sometimes? I am cd12 today and going to do opk right now. I'll let you know but I'm thinking it will be more like tomorrow?

Hi Ladies,
GreyEyes, I was temping but I never seem to be able to produce a typical chart. Or life happens and I can't be consistent for a day or so and then it all seems to go downhill. This last time, I thought I could see a significant rise around when I thought I should be ovulating, and then it dropped two days before AF came. I suspected when it dropped and I was snug in my bed (no ambient reason for the temp drop) that it meant I was going to be disappointed this month. I am taking a break from all that for now. It was getting to my head. We go tomorrow to the clinic to see what they think and I will keep you guys up on what's going on. I suspect that it is a problem on my side, but we shall see... poor DH had to give up another sample for them to do more intense testing and he doesn't enjoy it very much! The surroundings are just not conducive to a stellar performance, he says! *wink*

And thanks for the words of encouragement.... it means a lot to have you guys here....

Philomena- maybe not a problem necessarily, sometimes i just takes getting things timed exactly right I read somewhere that even when we times everything perfect there's a 20% chance that month:shrug:

Marathongirl- yep I am always up late. that's the best time for me to do my work outs, et cetera. If my girls are awake they are clamorin around my weight sets and someone always gets hurt! So I wait untilt hey go to bed. I do alot of my online school about then too, when it's nice and quiet!

That must mean you don't get much sleep:coffee: I need to sleep. That's weird that even when you time it right there is only a 20% chance. That seems very low:shrug: I have read that as well.:hugs:

I think that those odds have a lot to do with other factors though- like caffeine intake that slow the fallopian tube response, etc. That was really hard for me to kick but I did it cold turkey!:haha: I had to....

Hi Ladies!

OOOH that`s my downfall chocolate!!...i gotta try n stop it!!...I always pop in the fridge and steal my sons!!!...How are we all today?..hopefully good?....catch u all later...jo

yes its true that it is harder and somewhat riskier over 35, but the rewards of parenthood once you have your child are indescribable ,,,,, good luck to all those couples trying

Grey eyes- How are you today? How is the progesterone? No side effects? I stopped drinking the coffee when I was preggo last year and just didn't start back up and i've been fine. I have the odd bit of milk chocolate from time to time which I don't think is going to affect anything.
AFM- I am cd113 today and got my pos opk today. I am one day earlier than last cycle and I knew this was going to happen. It's amazing with all of the temping you really get to know your body. Got Dh this morning and we will go for tomorrow morning as well....and maybe the next day??Wish me luck

Marathongirl-

I am feeling great! No side effects from t he progesterone except a bit of muscle problems...I overworked the other day and paid the price!:haha: Other than that I am just exhausted all the time no matter what. Now I am starting to worry that no ms is a bad sign! Even though I read tons of info that says it has nothing to do with successful regnancies:wacko:
