Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

I am supposed to take the progesterone until the placenta is formed and begins prodicing it by itself...about week 12 or so. So I have another month after this one runs out at least. :) It makes me feel better having it as I waws worried at my age maybe:shrug: the corpus luteum was just maturing too quickly. I think the ice rink is fine it shouldn't drop your core temp...the womb, heart, lungs, etc, are protected...blood flow will divert from your legs, feet, etc first to warm your core.

Yes you're probably right but I tell you I was chilled to the bone and had to take a warm not hot bath to warm up. I'm glad you feel better with the progesterone! I think though you were probably fine last time if you made it to 12 weeks. obviously your doctor wouldn't recommend it if it could cause you harm.
How do you feel today?

Actually with my last pregnancy I mc'd at 12 weeks but the doctor told me the baby died at 8 weeks...so I was thinking that might have been it. That's inconclusive though.

I feel okay today..keep feeling kind of icky once in a while but no full blown nausea yet. I read these things online where they say if you dont get sick you will mc but I am thinking that's not the case. I didn't have nausea with my mc but that doesn't mean much - my doctor told me that had nothing to do with it. Granted with my two dd I had bad ms but my doctor says every pregnancy is different and that about 30% of women don't get ms. So...waiting for it to kick in but trying not to worry if it doesn't! :) I started calcium again today a safer version- the pharmacist recommended not using coral because of the toxins today.

How are you today?
I wouldn't worry about the ms thing,I never had ms with either of my successful pregnancies. I think it really depends and every pregnancy is different as you said. I would be happy that you don't have it. Is your doctor planning any early us because of your previous mc?

Grey eyes- I am doing well thanks. Staying busy with the kids and exercising less. I wanted to ask you, did you cut out all cardio in your last cycle? I have cut running totally out and am walking instead. A couple of times a week I go to the gym and do the elliptical for 40 mins and once a week I ride stationary bike. That makes for 3 walks 3 other workouts and usually 1 day off a week. I am an exercise freak so this schedule seems like so slack but I think it's the right thing to do. Even though I was running 5 days a week when I got my last BFP??what do you think?
As far as the bloating just go with it. You know you will get your body back. If you're small which I know you are I think you notice the little changes faster.

Thanks Grey eyes! It is worth the sacrifice when you get a healthy baby! I will do anything and know it will happen. How are you today?

Tired!:haha: I got to sleep late though:shrug: Looking forward to an awesome day! :)

I am going to my doctors on Wed and I will ask for a blood test for progesterone.I am curios to see what it is. If it's low I can start taking it right away or next cycle if it's too late. I feel really good this cycle. I don't have the same panic feeling like "what if I don't get preggo this cycle" It's good because I think I was driving myself crazy and my poor dh as well:wacko: Hope you get a nap in today!!Lol:winkwink:

Grey eyes- I think that's what I'm thinking too? If my progesterone is too low in my luteal phase I m doomed right from the start right? I just want to know if it's at a normal level which I think it must be because my temp always stays up after o. I had a bit of a dip today but it was still above my pre-ovulation temps?
I think you are doing the right thing with the progesterone, especially if it's making you feel more relaxed. I think you are going to be fine this time. I'm so excited for you and also for myself to be where you are. I can't wait!!! Hope you have a great day

How are you today? Did your new comfy pants arrive yet? Is the weather where you are still quite cold? I am definitely looking forward to spring:thumbup:
AFM- my temp spiked back up this morning so who knows what that was about yesterday:shrug: Staying busy with work and the kids and so far this tww has gone pretty fast:happydance:

Marathongirl- did you have a slight drop yesterday? I have heard these drops and spikes could mean implantation...or a fluke temp. If it's higher today I'd say you're looking good! What's the link to your chart do you mind if I have a look? What dpo are you today?

I cooked a nice meal yesterday evening slow cooked barbeque pork ribs with homemade mashed potatoes and vegetables only to meet face to face with  lol! I had to lay down for a while. Then woke up naueas last night and again this morning.:shrug:I will take it all in stride!

Yes, I got one pair of pants but splurged and bought another pair sort of a boho style that can roll up your tummy or down for lowride. :) Waiting for those....And yes, it has been sunny and warmer here but got cold last night and we got several inches of snow- I am sooOOoo ready for summer!!

I would say you should welcome the ms as it means your hormone levels are increasing:thumbup: Too bad that you have to miss out on a nice meal though. The pants sound cool. I guess you probably don't need too much as you will be at your biggest in the summer and early fall so you can wear dresses or shorts:thumbup:

Yes please look at my chart the link is in my signature and let me know. I am 6 dpo today and feeling good:flower:Going to see doctor after work to get the req for my progesterone test tomorrow at 7dpo:shrug: I just want to kow for my own piece of mind that my body is producing enough prog during the luteal phase:wacko:
Glad you're doing well:hugs::hugs:

Marathongirl- I was browsing oyur chart....I wonder if your spike to 98.2 is an awesome sign! I don't know charting that well but it looks really positive to me. Too early for implantation maybe maybe not?? Because mine jumped from 98.1 to 98.6 the day after my very faint bfp! So I am wondering....:hugs:

Who knows eh?? Spoken like a true Canadan:wacko:I'm prepared for it to go either way:shrug:what dpo did you get your very faint BFP? Thanks for looking at my chart:hugs::hugs:

My first bfp was 10dpo...are you 6dpo now? I tried testing at 9 dpo and got bfn...funny how one day makes a difference!!

I had to poas again today:haha: I used a digi clearblue then after broke it open. The bottom pic is most recent...I am trying to determine if the test lines are getting any darker:shrug:

Marathongirl-

So are you going to test around 25 or 26?? I guess that'd be about right:shrug: I am excited for you!! Haven;t heard from Philomena lately...hope she's doing okay!

AFM- bloat showed up today. So I am now having self-image issues :haha jk...but wearing my most comfortable pants today lol!

Hi Grey Eyes!
I am very glad to see you are doing so well! I have taken a hiatus from charting and temping and all that. We went to fertility clinic and DH still has Rockstar swimmers, so now it's my turn for a battery of tests. CD2 bloodtest to check hormones, CD9 U/S to check follicles, CD 19 Bloodtest to check progesterone levels to determine if I ovulated, and a dye test to see if my fallopian tubes are clear... so we are not trying until these tests are done... probably will resume trying in March or April... fx - if it's as easy as a problem with my ovulation, that's an easy fix... if it's something more... then this might be more difficult. *sigh*

hanging in there,
Philomena
