I am doing well! Had some pinching last night and I feel like there is a bubble in there now. Strange sensation, subtle but there.
Got my hair cut and the dogs went to the spa, I bought some cool art pieces for around the house. I bought 6 FRER's so I'm set! LOL!

I was going to get a pedicure but I just kinda ran outta steam so I'm having a ginger beer (non alcoholic) and watching last nights elementary.

I have the weekend to get a pedicure and car wash, so I'll just relax now

Sounds like you are super busy, pizza sounds yummy! I'm not sure what I'm having for dinner, maybe some pad Thai or beef with broccoli. I've been craving Asian inspired dishes all week

Good luck with your school and I hope the DD's are doing well!

SAMs.. yes we missed you! Of course! I just knew that you've been working through the IVF aftermath. It is hard on us, emotionally and physically. My mom says its barbaric! maybe she is right. I know it's effected me but somehow the need for a baby wins out and I keep trying I'm not so sure I would do IVF again, but I am not sure I need to. First because I am hopeful this worked and second because we now know that the issue is my NK cells so if I am not pregnant this time around, I still have 2 embryos, to try again. I could also do IUI again with IVIg. Or maybe try with a certain special someone

So take your time figure out where your heart is, and DH's too. You'll figure it out

My body is driving me nuts I think I might have some good symptoms, but then I get some cramps that feel like AF and I think.. nope it can't be! But then again, could it? Anyone else feeling like that?

My symptoms at 3dp5dt (8dpo): twinges and pinches, a subtle swelling feeling in my lower abdomen, lower back pain like AF, nausea, hot flashes.

Well I never had a temperature rise so ovulation was not confirmed unfortunately. Sad day. We are flat broke so I am throwing in the towel. im gonna need time to switch gears in my head from the plan of conceiving my own to trying to adopt. I am still holding out hope for you ali...sending tons of baby dust and sticky vibes your way...

Hi ladies!! Well today I got somewhat creative and decided to dye some of my clothes....just white tanks, etc. I used a wine red. Then I remembered how my dd's are constantly losing socks and have NO matched pairs no matter how hard I try. So I got smart and dumped ALL their mis-matched pairs in the dye bath I feel good about it, lol Right now baking an experimental chicken casserole ... chicken, veggies cooked cream with cheese and biscuit top... fx'd.

Thanks Grey Eyes! I sincerely hope so! The cramping is getting a lot worse, this is prime implantation time, so I'm hopeful that is what I'm feeling.

Sounds like you had some fun with the DD's and you now have a bunch of mismatched socks that are at least the same color now!

I just bought some powerball tickets.. 600 million would come in handy!

Im so confused... No AF.. yet neg hpt.(tested on the 16th) I get a pulling feeling on and off but no cramps .. still have the bright blue veins across my chest.. The really sore BB's have calmed a bit- feel more heavy then sore but still on the sore side just not as bad. I guess whatever it will be, will be.. Right now I'd be happy just to stop getting heartburn.. Im gonna sleep all day tomorrow ( i hope lol) cause I feel like I could sleep for a week!

I have been testing but no BFP yet, I'm 4dp5dt or 9dpo and still nothing. Most women see a BFP in the next 2-3 days.
I had a dream last night that I POAS and it turned instantly. So then I went on a quest to get a BETA and got into some alternate space and my friend was in it and people were trying to kill her so I had to save her, which delayed my BETA, and I woke up before I could get it done! ARGH!
I must say that I'm feeling really down today, thinking it didn't work. I might just go back to bed and mope. All the cramping I had is gone and now I just have this central pain in my lower back.

I wish I shared your enthusiasm. I am hopeful, but with all my failures in the past I am not sure I will be successful.

Ali the crazy dreams are a result of the progesterone! I had 2 nightmares last night and I am on the natural progesterone. Grey eyes is right, I also had them when I was pregnant. A Canadian friend of mine just started natural progesterone this cycle and she texted me that she has been having crazy nightmares too! In any case girl 9dpo is too soon to test!! You promised you wouldn't test till Monday!! Bad Ali! Just relax and visualize your embryos burying into your uterus Oh and I only felt cramping for 2 days, I think it was 7 and 8dpo and then felt nothing after that.

The last dream before I woke up finally at 10:30 am was this:

I have just taken a shower and wearing nothing but a towel and get locked out of hotel room. So I try to sneak into an elevator that is empty (huge glass elevator) To my relief noone else comes into the elevator and just as I am one floor away from my destination a man dressed in a black trenchcoat and hat holding one of those bazooka machineguns or whatever you call those huge guns you see in James Bond..he gets on the elevator!! He shouts at me to give him my money. I tell him I have nothing but the towel I am wrapped in. So he says "Well this is your unlucky day then isn't it!" He sounded just like Khan from Star Trek into the darkness that I went to see Friday night. On a sidenote it was an excellent movie!!Anyway, back to my nightmare..just as he draws to shoot me I say " Wait! here's my wedding and engagement ring! He says that'll do!!" and I wake up!! HAAAAAA!

Ali and Jand K..... I've everything crossed for you both.

I'm just back from a few days away girls and I'm pooped, I'll get on tomorrow night for a better catch up. I was away with a bunch of friends and our kids (minus DH) and on returning home things are still pants. Apparently I'm not entitled to even ask if he had a drink last night, even though he drank the 3 nights previous! This is the first week he has drank since he moved back home but in my eyes if he cant even last a few days while I'm away, plus the fact he is meant to be turning over a new leaf, especially since I am pregnant, what hope is there? I'm calling Citizens Advice this week to start planning my way out

That's how I felt when I got my bfp. Very tired and boobs sore on the outside. I didn't have any cramping until a week later. But your symptoms sound promising!

How are you feeling Ali?? Just relax, try not to symptom spot and get your emotions in a whirl. Rest and have faith that this is your time!!

Coy, that's such a smart idea with the socks. I now tie dh's socks in a knot by the top of the trouser sock and they never come apart. How Aeryn?

Hi Sams, I'm sure you are feeling some residual things from your cycle and some of it is probably your hormones. It's like the game Chinese checkers, all the chemicals are swirling around and need to settle back into their rightful place. I hope you reconsider acupuncture to help you get back to normal. It's so hard to process or handle things in the same even keeled way when our bodies have been thru something like this. I'm happy you checked in, we're here for you.

Afm today I have some queasiness and some mild cramping, yesterday nada! I swear I woke up with energy, no nausea, no cramps and of course I got paranoid. I have my ob appt on Wed and hope all is ok. I'm 9 weeks today and crossing fingers everything is as its supposed to be. I had a great weekend. We had friends over Fri and one of them is 2 weeks ahead of me. I went to a party at my friends new house last night and there were 3 women that were due in 2-3 weeks with their 2nd and 3rd. It was funny to see large bumps everywhere! And more baby news, my BFF had her baby girl yesterday a week early! I'm so happy for them!!! And I also saw my friend yesterday that had twin boys with DE 9 weeks ago. They are adorable and so hairy they are like little old men!

Of course we missed you Sam! I understand what you mean by feeling like you have ptsd. The OB asked how I was feeling emotionally and I didn't want to say I felt depressed but she said it without me saying it. She said it is normal to feel depressed under the circumstances. When you are emotionally ready you will decide if another IVF is right for you. I had a year gap between my 2 ivf's. Babywhisperer is right, acupuncture really helps. I have not been at all because it isn't covered by new insurance and I had over $3000 doctor bills this month from last miscarriage.

thanks grey eyes and Babywhisperer.. AF showed up this morning.. Really light- only when I wipe, nothing on the pad and alot of CM.. started light pink and watery but then there was some bright red- That was early in the AM and now almost nothing when I wipe.. But having actual cramps now. Im googling really light periods to see if this will be a problem for getting pregnant. I've never charted before or temp but I started going over my numbers and I have been having 35 day cycles. A few months ago one was 38 days. At least since being on metformin and hypo thyroid meds I am getting more then 2-4 periods a year. Maybe my body just needs more time. Once I started this morning my BB's stopped hurting. Usually they dont even start to hurt till a few days before AF. but now they start hurting for O and seem to not stop till AF arrives. It's like learning my body all over again. Im so use to when it wasnt working. Not only do pregnancy symptoms seem like AF and vice versa but half my thyroid symptoms seem like pregnancy symptoms too lol.. The one thing that had me thinking I was pregnant were the bright blue veins showing up on my chest and arms. They are still there too- Oh well- here's to next month!
