AFM- Tough day today again, I went into the dungeon (garage) again and didn't stop until everyone was starving and I realized it was 8 m already! Thank God for microwaveable food! Never mind if its healthy or not... Anyway, I am making progress. I have rearranged the garage before but this time I am so serious about it. I have a Suburban truck FULL of garbage and I have hauled 2-3 loads of donation out so far also I want just the bare-naked stuff we USE! Poor dh had to watch me sort and toss his clothes today But I did insist he keep all his 80's stuff as it's just far too cool to throw away

Then I bathed one dd, ran a load of donation to the center, went shopping for the billionth time for groceries , did the dishes, hand scrubbed the kitchen floor (wtf is that all about???), vacuumed the living room, made both beds, put the girls to bed, washed a load of laundry, washed another load of laundry, took a shower, painted my toenails scarlet and now I am debating what to eat as my very late dinner. ... I think I'll go with gormet (ahem, drumroll) scrambled eggs and hot dogs.

Oh yeah, btw, I forgot. This morning as I was getting dressed I noticed something odd with my clothes. It took me a few moments to realze I kept trying to put my bra on feet first..........LOL!!

Welcome Aussiemom! Sorry about the loss of your babe . Hope you will be able to get your BFP naturally again.

I'm with you... the tww is very difficult. I'm a hopeless POAS addict, it's my way of coping with the wait.

I never thought I was, but I am a POAS addict too. Just tested again ... 13dpo and BFN but no signs of AF ... confused. My luteal phase is generally on the shorter side (10-12 days).

Thanks Coy! We are going to try naturally for a few months at least. Haven't ruled anything out but, as you can imagine, have a bad taste for the closest fertility clinic given the original misdiagnosis that cost us many years. But we will see. I was just glad after the stillbirth that my cycle finally got somewhat normalized the last few months. I never thought I would be one to poas all the time, but wow the tww is hard

I too was diagnosed with having a blocked tube, but went to have another HSG done, this one was a different kind, apparently there are 3 different kinds.

1) Uses oil and injects that into the uterus
2) Uses saline with bubbles
3) Uses saline solution

I initially had number 2 done, and that is when they diagnosed the blocked tube. I then went about 2 months later to a different clinic in a different country (long story), but they suggested I go have the number 3 type done, as they have had great success unblocking tubes! Sure enough, the right tube took a second or 3, but all of a sudden it was wide open! So now both tubes are open, YAY!

So what I'm wondering is what type of blockage do you have? Sounds like they can't be totally blocked or you would never have gotten pregnant. If that is the case, maybe its just an issue of 'cobwebs' and a little squirt of the saline will open them even further? Is this a possibility for you?

I had no idea there were three kinds. That is so frustrating. I had HSG done twice and both times showed full blockage where both tubes joined uterus. The first test the doc said that was unusual and that since I was in so much pain (small cervix apparently -- sorry if tmi) and I was cramping a lot it was probably cramping and not actual blockage. Did the test again many months later after I worked up the courage and doc prescribed valium and some other meds to soften the cervix. It was still very painful and showed the same thing. I was confused that he was that time so sure that now the only way I could have children was ivf. But that is the route we went and went and went .... always had great response and got a number of good quality embryos but none stuck (a few chemical pregnancies and one early miscarriage)

After I got pregnant last year there was then this "oh, well at least one if not both of your tubes must not be blocked." So the belief now is that the tubes were never blocked but since we did so many ivf cycles one after the other we weren't BDing so no chance of natural conception. Then when we finally gave up, surprise, surprise! I just wish that surprise could have shown up at 35-36 when we started all of this ... oh well.

I will take a look at the link and thank you so, so much for the info. Every time I think I know all I need to there is something else.

Congratulations, you are more than half way there. I sometimes hate to share my story because I don't want to freak anyone out more than we all already are when we are pregnant!! Docs assured me my loss was a rare fluke and all testing on the baby and me came back with no reason it should happen again and it certainly isn't likely to happen to very many others. Here's to a healthy rest of your pregnancy so you can stop worrying (at least about that) and hold your LO!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your stillbirth, I'm just 21 weeks and even though things are going well, I'm still worried about my babes.... I guess that never goes away until the LO is born!!
Much baby dust to you and your hubby!!
AFM- did I tell you ladies that I've decided to go for a 3-D/4-D ultrasound? Gender determination (I want to be totally positive it's a girl!) and I decided that I would love to see this Little One's face.... they didn't have this technology when I had dd#1 and since this will be my last.... well, why not?? plus, since hubby is being difficult, I guess I just decided to do this for me and only me... a treat I can look forward to! So I'm booked for the end of September, and will put up the photo when I get it!!

I hope everyone is doing well..... I'm so glad to have you ladies!

Can't wait to see it! And you're right, you do deserve a treat.

Welcome AussieMom. I got a BFN at 11DPO, had some light pink spotting at 14DPO and got my BFP at 16DPO (yesterday). It can take a few days for the HCG leevls to rise if your spotting was an IB so fingers crossed for you xo

I have been lurking here for a bit and find so much comfort in how supportive you all are of one another. After years and numerous ivf cycles -- because I was diagnosed with both my tubes being fully blocked -- I became naturally pregnant last November. Unfortunately, we lost our baby boy at 20 1/2 weeks in March. At 41, time is not on my side. Though I keep telling myself I got pregnant naturally at 40 1/2 so there is hope. Obviously, my tubes are not actually blocked -- a frustration given all the $$$ we spent on treatments based on that diagnosis. This is our second month trying after our loss. I didn't ovulate until CD25 (later than my usual CD18-19). Today is 12DPO. I had one spot - light pink - yesterday and nothing since then. Test 9DPO BFN (I know, too early for most positives). Then I broke down today but not with FMU and another BFN. I did not temp this month but used the CBFM to track ovulation. I am just trying to keep my hopes up and wanted to thank you for being such a great group of women!!! Here's to what will hopefully be all our BFPs!!!

AFM...I am a busy bee today trying to get everything ready for my BF's surprise birthday party tomorrow...Today is his actual birthday and he wants me to take him to lunch...Sushi!!! I love Sushi!! He is going out with his buddies tonight and I will have extra time to prepare. I have to make him a CAKE!!! He wants homemade vanilla...with fresh strawberries...and I don't have a recipe for that!! Yikes! It's a good thing I have help with the other food...His parents and my parents and a few friends are helping me...but I still have shopping to do...not just for the party, but for my son too! School starts on MONDAY! BUSY BUSY BUSY!

...and what is up with my chart? I guess missing a few days really has it looking CRAZY! Lol!

I'm still convinced that I'm pregnant but the sticks do not agree. at least not yet. There wasn't even a hint of a line this morning, and I just tested again and I'm not sure, there might have been, but then I threw it in with all the other used tests and I can't remember which one it was! ARGH!

I think I might have pregnancy brain already, I lost my drink! I remember taking out the last cold bottle of water from the fridge, and was warming up lunch in the microwave, and could not for the life of me figure out where I put it! It wasn't in the microwave (thank god) and I hadn't put it in the freezer. I'd already checked the obvious place, the counter. So where was it? I put it in a bag of goodies I had bought to take up stairs, but have no recollection of doing so! Silly Ali!

So with it only being 10DPO, I think I will just have to be good and wait a few more days.

I really hope you are right! I'm not sure how much more of living in 2 week cycles I can take! Plus the finances of trying on my own, the donor sperm, the IUIs, and the injectible medications are over the top. I was spending around $3K a month, but if we move to injectibles it will easily be closer to $5K. I was lucky enough to be able to do injectibles last month, but the FS gave them to me for free, yes FREE, I figure it was $1200 of drugs. I told my Mom that we have to send them a huge gift basket if I'm successful! LIKE HUGE!! I also promised to stop by next summer when I'm home and show off my baby or babies.

So lets all say lots of prayers, and keep thinking positive thoughts!!!

We have one definite in the group.. ANGEL! and I'm a definite maybe.

Here is hoping that August is it!!!

AFM- doc appointment went well, we all went in...Bump is measuring 32 centimeters, perfect for my 32 weeks. In the last 2 months I have only gained 2 pounds total so not bad Will have to see, doc said everything is perfect. And babes is still high so she must just be kicking my cervix hard lol!

One crappy night last night- Kat started waking me up 1/2 hour after I laid down and I was literally awake until 6 am again. Little poop, she is trying to force me to let her sleep in my bed which I am adamantly against. I told dh that's all I need- one infant and one 3 year old forcing my up and out. NO WAY! lol! So she is currently as sleep deprived as I am and promising not to behave that way again. We'll see I did sleep from 6:30 to 8:30 then got up to make breakfast for the fam. Ah well.......Motherhood!

Thanks! I really do hope it is. It isn't that I lost it, I have it, but there are about 6 in a row and I can't remember which one is from this afternoon! They are so tiny, I can't label them. I will post tomorrow regardless of how negative it is, since you like looking!

Good news about your Dr's appt. Sounds like everything is progressing smoothly YAY! Yep, you need to put your foot down and make your DD sleep in her own room. I'm sure that she is acting out in part due to the arrival of your baby. She may be feeling some anxiety over not being your baby anymore, since there will be a new baby. Perhaps spending some mommy and me time with her (during normal awake hours) will help her feel better?

Yeah, I am pretty sure she is a bit concerned about her position....she keeps hugging dh and I hard and insisting she is still our little girl lol We do spend a lot ofone-on-one time with them but I think when sun sets and bed time rolls around her feeling of anxiety just increase.

Anyway I am pooooped beyond belief! My brain feels all fuzzy. I have now over eaten on what is probably junky food as its too hot to cook, but at the moment I don't are I plan on being in bed in about an hour and a half (I HOPE!) lol!

Sounds like you are doing all you can do She'll be fine, it just takes time and patience!

Well, so much for that idea Here I am four hours later! Played with Kat in the front yard for an hour or so (she deserved play time), then I got them ready for bed...doesn't work for dh They need mama to do it Anyway today dh bought them a Walt Disney book about Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey and a huge winter strom so I ended up reading that to them then off they went to sleep. Kat with sleepy argument about who's bed she was going to sleep in of course Eventually she stated "well, we'll be sleepy-buddies then...." and was out like a light, lol! Kid logic

And I am currently finishing up some school assignments- finally all done...and I am exhausted, nauseas and starving, all at the same time! trying to decide if I should munch on something light or forget it and go to bed. I am noticing new surges of hunger in the middle of the night. I was too tired so ignored it last night, hope I don't start gaining tons! I am currently at 142.something-ish pounds Which still pouts me at 10 pounds less than when I had Kat ... My brain, who cares and what does it matter, right?! I'm HUNGRY! LOL! It's that junky food, it doesn't do anything for me, I need protein...


Ali- just wanted to say you are one awesome and determined woman, I sure hope this is your bfp month but if not (and I am seriously thinking it is) I know you will achieve it soon. Post a pic for me in the morning if you have time before work! And don't work too hard either...Oh, and I am keeping tabs on Isaac (storm) hopefully you don't get hit with too much!
