AFM, I did a Clearblue Digital today. Remember how it said NOT PREGNANT on Saturday? Well, today, it said..........

PREGNANT!!!!!!!

DH doesn't let me go to the bathroom alone in the morning these days, because he doesn't want me to test without him. So funny. We were both staring at the display and it was the longest 3 minutes ever!

I will try another FRER tonight or tomorrow.

The nurse at my FS said they won't give me a beta test until Thursday, which is Thanksgiving. So, that means I really have to wait until Monday. Grrr! I think it's because of the chance of early m/c. Either way, it kinda pissed me off.

It still hasn't sunk in that, I guess, I'm pregnant (for the first time).

Well, I have read a lot about the pink dot FRER and most say it's a faulty test boo... I took the test apart and yes the pink dot is to the left of the test line so definitely not a bfp. Still early thought so we will see. My symptoms are completely different from my usual AF symptoms though. The only real symptom that I have is peeing...like I have to run to the bathroom or I will have an accident. Literally have peed myself numerous times!! Also craving orange juice...never drink orange juice ever.

Anyone else testing or having symptoms???

9DPO is still early!! Keep testing! you aren't out yet!!

YIPPEE!!! Yep, they don't want to do a test until way late, they did that with me too. Only I knew I wasn't pregnant. I think the wait is just torturous! I almost went to my regular Dr and had them run my blood that is one way to get around waiting until next week. Just go to your regular Dr and say, I'm late, and I think I might be pregnant. They'll run the test and mine usually gets the results back the following day, so you could get a BETA test by Wednesday if you go today or tomorrow. Just a thought? Aren't I devious

But then you wouldn't have to wait, and when your FS did the BETA it would be your 2nd and you'd have something to compare it to! So do you think you will do it? I knew I wasn't pregnant, that is why I didn't.

That's awesome! Congratulations!!! So happy for you. I hope your beta comes back amazing!

Afm, 5 dpo and holy migraine. I get maybe less than 4 a year. My temp was a little power today, prob due to testing at 6 am vs after 8.

Babydust- I am sooo glad to hear from you! I have been worried. Wow, sounds awesome you are heading up some recovery efforts More folks like you needed in the world! Thank you! And re: your chart. That is an aweosme temp for 9DPO lady! Yay! ANd the pic- is that a frer? The "smudge" is difficult to see on my computer but for 9DPO- looks like a bfp to me, I am sure in person it is more pronounced. Often as the test sits it will get a bit darker. How soon after testing did you take the pic? I am so excited for you! Test again tomorrow Did you use fmu? 9dpo is the day I got my bfp with frer too!

FirstTry- omg, I bet you and dh are cloud 9 right now!! So happy and excited for you! will you consider progesterone supps? Not sure if you mentioned it before but I think it's worth checking with your doc

Ali- I love your devious streak! You and I have a lot in common lol How's the Lupron head-ache??

Babywhisperer- sorry for the stupid migraine Your temp dipped a teeny bit but still nice and high Def could be a dip caused by varied testing times.

Jess- where are you? What does "L" stand for in regard to charting cm..?

AFM- so I think I am on mom-auto-pilot I bounce out of bed, get dressed, run errands, making phone calls, getting kids dressed, changing diapers, feeding Aeryn, cook breakfast for dd's and dh....I had to re-heat my coffee 3 times and still haven't finished it My 3 year old tells me "I have to go potty mama" because I always help to make sure she gets clean, etc, and doesn't "fall in" lol...Anyway, I blast out washing the dishes, then run into the bathroom to help clean Kat- I pop her over, clean her, set her down, flush the toilet, pull her pants up, etc...all the while she is standing there with her mouth agape. Finally, I am washing my hands I ask her "What's the problem?" and she says "I didn't get to go!"

I'm gonna go finish my coffee now ......

Coy: my FS puts everyone on progesterone and estrogen following IVF. So, I'm already on it. Hoping it keeps our little bean in there

DH and I are trying not to get too excited until we get through the next week or two.

So much exciting stuff is happening on the boards lately! makes me smile!!

AFM, I was a little ill this weekend and that layed me up a little bit, but feeling much better now.

I had DD help me lug a 9 drawer dresser up to the baby's room from the garage this morning, and I've sanded it down, and repainted it.... it used to be DD#1's but she hasn't used it in a couple of years.... So a fresh coat of paint and it looks like new! It went from being all white, to being white with purple drawers and I changed out the drawer pulls from basic knobs to knobs that are purple and yellow flowers.... it looks SO cute....

I met with my best friend yesterday, and we went over a few of the details for my Blessingway Ceremony.... I gave her the book I had on Blessingways and we chatted about all sorts of things.... I'm really looking forward to it, as I think I really, really need the kind of spiritual magic that is supposed to happen at these things.... too much stress this pregnancy for sure!!

On that front, though, I have to say, that having DH out of the house and dealing on his own with his stuff has freed me up to really take time to heal myself and get ready for this baby coming. I've had mixed emotions about where things are at, and, of course, I am allowing myself to grieve the relationship (what it was supposed to be) and to look forward to where I am and where I want to be.... I just keep reminding myself that I got married for all the right reasons, and that I did everything I could to help the best I could once the problem was uncovered.... BUT the baby, and DD#1 need to come first, and having DH here in the house was not good for any of us.
I am a better mom to DD#1 and this baby when I can be who I am and when I can be present and here for them.... and I was having trouble doing that when I had to deal with DH's drama every single day.

SO there's me in a nutshell ATM.... I'm so excited to see some BFPs happening for my BnB ladies.... I think of you often and send good wishes to all who need them....

Well internet cheapies are the most sensitive, you can get them down to 10miu I believe, but that would involve ordering and getting them in time. Besides that, FRER are supposed to be the best. They say they will test 25miu, but I've read somewhere that they picked up as low as 12.5miu. So I would go with these. They often come in packs of 2 +1 free (or 3 for the price of 2) for about $8-9 at Walmart or Target. That is your best option. Then once you get closer to your test day the digitals should pick up your positive, they are 50miu. Also, don't forget that HPTs do urine tests so hypothetically if your BETA is 200, your urine may only be 75 or maybe even lower. Your BETA level will likely be higher than what your HPT test shows. I'd just keep testing with morning urine and use the FRER, and compare them to each other. As long as the line is the same or darker than the one from the prior day, I would say things are moving forward with a healthy pregnancy! Then they will likely do 2-3 BETAs to make sure that the numbers are doubling. Congrats!!!! So happy for you

Ok, Ladies, in case you need a laugh.... here's a story from me....

So today I repainted an old 9 drawer dresser we had for the baby's room. I was in there, admiring my work, and deciding that the last, last things to do are to move the clothes, blankets etc into the dresser and to vacuum and do a final dusting.... then I'd be ready....

Well, if I didn't glance into the crib to check out my ultra cute owl sheet and bedding already on and ready for Babes.... when I realized that one corner of the sheet was covered in soft, downy black fur!! Clearly my kitty has been napping in the crib!! I've never seen her in there and usually we know where she likes to sleep.... I laughed SO hard!!! I could just see my little black kitty curled up in the baby's crib....

I guess I have some more laundry to do before truly being 'ready'!!

Hello grey eyes I know I have been MIA, but just had to take a break for awhile was getting overly stressed, with seeing BFP. I am extreameley happy for all,but just hard for me, I just wanted to say congrads on your little bunddle of joy. I got hijacked by work and my stupid loan officer. I am ready to strangle her! We are all set, finally all the docs are as she wants them, I have the right amount of money in the right account and then this evening as she is leaving for the day and after she has promised the loan docs would be completed befor nov 30th, that she's sorry her calculations were incorrect and I now bed 2x the agreed upon amount to close! OMG I literally want to strangle this woman!

I'll try to write more tomorrow!
