Well ladies, this is it for me

Here I am, spot on 27 weeks today. In some ways I feel like I've been pregnant forever!! Sitting at my 8 week booking in appointment and the MW making me appointments for when I was 12, 16 and 20 weeks seemed like a million miles away. And yet, here I am, already 27 weeks and on my last stretch at work (I'm a teacher and the last half term of the year starts on Monday!!)!!

So it's off to third tri I go!!! For those of you who still feel like you have ages to go, it goes by so quick!!!!! Trust me on that

Congrats on reaching the third trimester and welcome over!

I'm a teacher too and will also be trying to make it to the end of this half term before starting maternity leave - if I can make it till the summer holidays then maternity leave doesn't start till my due date, unless I have her earlier!

I don't know about you, but pregnancy time drags by during holidays. I feel like I've been 29 weeks for an eternity, but I also know that with all the deadlines looming this term (reports, class assembly, appraisal, observations, class handover, sorting out the assessment file etc.) time will race unforgivingly on and we'll be near the end of third tri before we know it!

Sorry I've waffled on your thread it's nice to find someone in a similar position though.
