What are you doing differently this cycle?

Hi taima, it does sound similar. What day are you on? I'm really anxious to hear if you get your Clomid BFP! It's definitely something I want to try before going into more expensive treatments, since my insurance I just found out last week, will cover exactly nothing of it. Keep me updated!

Hi girls!

I am in total shock! I got my :bfp: today!!! Arrrrggghhh!!!

Hey guys dropping in on your tread. Tiny I'm so sorry CP and MC are never easy :(

Taima - what do soy tablets do? and where can you get them?

They are called soy isoflavones and you can get them at any supplement store like GNC. If you look them up there's so many discussions on doses and days to take it but it's taken the same way as clomid for 5 days in the beginning of your cycle. I don't wanna throw a dose number from my memory and have it be wrong. Do some research on it and you'll find all the info you need. There is a thread in the trying to conceive section about soy. Good luck!

I'm on CD 23 and 6 days past ovulation. I'll know in a week hopefully. Even if I don't get a BFP I won't use meds next cycle because clomid would still be effecting my next cycle. i May do a clomid cycle every 3 months unless I get BFP ofcourse.

Insurance doesn't cover fertility specialists or fertility meds. I'd say stay with an Obgyn willing to help you out as much as possible. Monitoring, blood tests, prescribe meds to help you. Obgyns usually prescribe clomid when they see a need.

I hope you get your sticky bean soon !

Congrats MrsB87!! Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

Yup. We are taking this month off and will be doing genetic testing on myself first, then him if nothing and we will start clomid or femera next cycle.

Though my OB doesn't see a need for it, since I ovulate on my own (but late every time). But I talked him into it, it has worked for a lot of ladies with recurrent chemical pregnancies. And I won't feel good about trying treatments that cost $1000s before trying one that cost $10s

You know I feel with later ovulation our bodies would definitely make use of a little boost. And earlier ovulation would increase our chances for better egg quality.. yea definitely try clomid it's what everyone does before going to more expensive treatments.
