what can u ladies hear on a doppler?

I have heard so much with my Doppler!!! It took me nearly a week to find babys heartbeat. But man was it worth the wait!

I am not overweight by any means, but I do have a bit extra fat deposit on my tummy, to find baby for the first time, I really had to dig the probe into my abdomen right above the bone and angle it toward my toes! Hope that helps

Hia i have got the angle sounds doppler and its works great i am only 11 wks and i can hear ir it really clearly.. its like galloping horses with wooshes aswell, my little boys thought it was the sea love em.
I wouldnt of tried so early but i went for my first midwife apt last wk and the midwife picked up the heartbeat on her doppler clearly at 10 wks so thought id give it a try.
You have to place it really low down and at a slight angle facing down.
Dont panic tho cos it does say on the box 14-16 wks, its different with every individual and where they are lying etc.

Hey I found babys heartbeat at 13 weeks 5 days, took me two weeks to find it but it was worth it! The first time I thought I heard it at 11 weeks it just turned out to be my own pulse. lol. I found it to the left, below the stomache by the pubic bone and I could really tell when I found it and baby moved in and out of the doppler range so I got bits of the heartbeat here and there.

I also hear loud bangs and other sounds which I think is baby kicking/moving around. The bangs have gotten louder and more frequent over the last two weeks

That's a clip of it, I don't think I've heard it that well since then! but I can find it every day now might help!
everyone says it sounds like it's having a rave in there. Hehe.

i saw my mw yesterday she said you can't normally hear until 12 weeks?
maybe cos she's not prepared to spend hours trying to find it like us??!!
