What Christmassy thing have you done today?

Finally got the decorations out and trees up today, baked mince pies and gingerbread men with my girls. Now we’re going to watch the Muppet’s Christmas Carol before bed. It’s been a whole day of Christmas and I am 100% here for it

Watched a few Christmas films today. I’m currently off work with COVID so cheering myself up with Love Actually, Elf and now just starting the new Netflix film Falling for Christmas with Lindsay Lohan x

Tonight I sorted out all my boxes. Hoping to wrap Friday, can't keep waiting for royal mail lol
I have 3 items left to be delivered, all despatched so now a waiting game ....

I feel your pain. I have 4 items coming. 2 from China which are gradually moving. Both say they've arrived in the UK in the last day or so, so fingers crossed. Another I didnt realise at the time was coming from Poland. It left Poland on the 24th of November and hasn't updated since. I messaged the seller today asking if they had any further information and they responded with the tracking info, so I've replied that I have that info, but it hasn't updated since the 24th and I think its lost. The 4th is coming with Royal mail, supposed to be here today, but isn't, and the tracking doesn't work so again I've gone to the seller and said the tracking doesn't work and could they check what's happening. I can't deal with this any more. Next year I'm buying everything in store as its getting ridiculous the number of parcels that have gone missing this year with just about every delivery company. Not to mention DPD being a bunch of words I won't write here!

Just posted my best friend's presents and her 2 daughters selection boxes. Also bought more tape for wrapping and some cards.

I organised my ribbon box which took 1 h 1/2! Then wrapped my BFM's presents and my mum's and auntie's. Need to post them today!

PTA christmas meal tonight .
DH is taking girls to their clubs and doing dinner (I had a huge rant yesterday about not having time to get ready , so I owe him an apology)

Tomorrow night I need to do a ton of washing and ironing so on Friday I can start wrapping :-D

Went to Webbs garden centre to look at all the decorations. Managed to only spend £15 which is a record for me i think! Only got one bauble

Wrapping takes so long, doesn't it?! I really need to do it early this year. Last year I was doing the last bits till 1am on xmas eve! Nightmare!

I put the lights on the bush besides our front door. I will have to make sure it isn't on as much as last year though! There are noticeably fewer out in our area than previous years
