I put some Xmas decorations up and a charged a million batteries ready for the huge amount of fairy lights and dancing Xmas trees and teddies we have!

I also got ready for the elf arriving tomorrow. Did the Dec 1st box and made pancakes and set the table ready for our North pole breakfast 🎄🎄

Made up my secret Santa hamper then panicked about protecting it in the post. Did cards with ds2 and ds3 as well. Had a tiny amount of snow. Also not technically Christmas but I got excited and turned the calendar to December before coming up to bed. I also received some more Christmas deliveries.

Last night we did the tree and all the decorations and put out everything with the elf for this morning. DS’ reaction was priceless this morning and totally made up for the 6.20 start.

Yesterday we went tree decoration shopping. Rio chose pretty much all of them. They don’t really all match so not sure how they’ll look on the tree but I don’t mind because he loved having full control of choosing

Put up the tree yesterday and orderes the girls and myself a Christmas jumper. At 7.30 this morning my sister came over with jumpers for the girls too (she always gives them a new one on 1st December)

Started the calendars. I'm wearing a Christmas jumper. DS4 has got in to the cards and drawn another one to several people! Need to put them up out of his reach as DS1 needs to do his still. I am happy he's enjoying doing cards so much though. I added a few frozen Christmas food bits, and a bottle of drink, to my shopping last night so I just had those delivered.
I'm now trying to have five minutes peace and drink a coffee before I get on with more of the big clean for the tree going up but DS4 and the dog are determined to keep me busy

I think our elf is going to want a holiday soon after today with the kids! I let them play with him and so far Snowy has been out for a walk, watched the Santa Clause and is now lying wrapped in a towel soaking wet after being taken sledging in the snow! He also got buried in it and thrown a few times! 😂
