What could be wrong? Why not pregnant, even when I am having sex on fertile days?

Hi,
I am 28 yrs old, trying to TTC for #1 since Jan 2013. I chart my BBT and also check my CM and use OPK's.
Last cycle was on 23rd Jan. I had Egg white cervical mucuos from Feb 3rd to Feb 9th, my OPK's showed +ve on Feb 8th and 9th and -ve on Feb 10th.
FF showed my O-day as Feb 9th, based on all the above signs

We BDed on Feb 1st,2nd,3rd,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th. I even had triphasic curve after ovulation. I was excited that I would get pregnant last cycle, because we had sex on all the fertile days and my temp rose after ovulation, indicating that I had ovulated.

please scroll down on this link to view my Jan 23rd cycle chart:

But after 15 day Luteal phase, AF arrived on feb 25th. I am shattered.

I have begun to worry as to what is going wrong, when we are having sex even on my 5 fertile days :(

The first month was really hard for me too. Many times we release eggs that just aren't good. Even the most fertile couple will only have a 25% chance of conceiving each month, (20% over age 35). Just take a deep breath and keep trying. If you are under 35 give yourself 1 year before you worry, over 35 you should see someone in 6 months of trying. Sites like this can help. We all need some support. When I get my AF I have a bad day, drink a nice big glass of red wine, watch a movie and wake-up refreshed.

Your chart shows you are ovulating and have a "normal" seeming cycle. That is a great thing to see and for you to hold onto!

i know how you feel, ive been trying for 4 years and every month is so hard, with you thinking that you have pregnancy symptoms, maybe you should enjoy having sex and not make it a routine, its easier said than done i know, i tell myself all the time. when you have sex every day then your not pregnant is hard, especially when you think you are. just look at the postives, enjoy ur time with your partner. people tell me not to stress about it and not think about it but when your trying its hard. just keep postive :D xx

I don't understand... what do you mean 'what could be wrong?
Have you made an error with your TTC year or have you only TTC for one month? Or have you TTC before or NTNP? Or are you aware of medical reasons you can't conceive already?

If not, it can take up to a year for a healthy couple to conceive, I understand it's disappointing, but you need to chill out! Each month, even if you do everything right you still only have a 20/25% chance of conceiving anyway.

My only suggest would be to have sex on every other day, as sperm does need time to build up.

If you continue in this fashion for 12 months and don't get a BFP, then go to your Doctors and get tests done

I have got the year and month right. What I meant was.. "what could be wrong, why am i not getting pregnant, despite having sex on my fertile days?" :(
Thanks for the information.. sure will keep trying. Good luck to you too

sure, will keep in mind, not to stress.. my hubby tells me too. Thanks so much. Good luck to you

Also, according to some research stress can also impact on TTC, so after one month... I would try and think that it's only a 1 in 5 chance each time, so it might not be something you're doing.
You'll probably be pregnant before you know it!

Also try not to read every symptom you get as a definite indicator of pregnancy. As they may have been there all along, however you're noticing them more because you want to be pregnant. My advice would be not to google, as according to doctor google everything is a pregnancy symptom!

Make sure you're also taking folic acid if you're not already doing so!

yes, true.. but it is difficult not to be stressed :( yes, i have been taking prenatals since nov 29th, 2012. Thanks again :)

Ive been ttc 21 months, and each month is just as devistating as the last. My fertility specialist rrecommends bding every other day starting with day 10, because sperm needs time to build up again. I hope you get your BFP soon! Good Luck!

Sweet_18, I wish I'd found this site when I was in your position. I took a long time to find out all the information you've just found out in 24 hours. Good on you for having the courage to ask a question.

Try to enjoy the TTC process. DH and I are trying to as well.
