So it rained the other night and I found I have multiple leaks in the bedroom ceiling the biggest one going through my ceiling light so I had to move me and my daughter including her bed as we share a room into the living room and I nearly broke my finger tipping my king size bed against the wall so it didn't get ruined al this in the middle of the night, this happened last year too and it was fixed the next day through my landlord, so I rang my landlord yesterday morning telling him it needs to be fixed again especially as were are due some serious rain from tomorrow and im freaking out, he said he would get someone here asap so I stayed in all day with LO waiting, it came to 7pm yesterday and I hadn't heard from anyone so I rang my landlord again and he said the roofers he normally use are on holiday so his handyman who also works for the council will come out to look at it as soon as he can and that he's given him my number so he can ring me first and that there's nothing more he can do. firstly I know who this man is and he cant fix a roof so him coming to look at it wont make a difference to my problem that's if he even comes to look at it before tomorrow, I don't know what I can do, I cant stay in today and wait for the man anyway as I have an important drs apt that I cant cancel and I cant give him access to my flat without me here because of my dog. im completely at a loss, I want to ring my landlord again but don't want to piss him off, I don't know if I should contact the council or citizens advice or what, apparently we could be put in emergency accommodation but I couldn't take my dog so that's out as he's very attached to me and LO so cant stay with anyone else im really worried that the ceiling will cave from all the rain if its not fixed and ruin all my and LOs stuff. I just don't know what to do???
