I really love the name Ray for my little boy :cloud9:

It would be just Ray (possibly Raye) - not short for Raymond or anything.
as in 'Ray of light' or 'Ray of sunshine'

I like the sound of Little Ray or Baby Ray :) I think its cute for a baby and suitable for a boy/man of all ages really

Full name would be Ray Lewis Jarrett or Ray Lewis Mark Jarrett
(family middle names)

I know it is quite old fashioned but i dont think it actually sounds old fasioned... if that makes sense  lol

And the other thing, it does rhyme with Gay :haha: umm but tbh I dont see that being a huge problem with sooo many Aidens, Jaydens, Caydens and Haydens etc

Honest opinions please :flower: i know it wont be to everyones taste lol

I think it sounds lovely and not old-fashioned! Its one of those names that seems older because it is not massively popular. Also, it's unlikely he will be at school with many other Rays!

My thoughts - Go for it!!!

I like it, probably because i like the name Gray :winkwink:. xx

I love it! Ever since watching Disney's The Frog Princess I've thought Ray was an adorable name... :haha:

One of my friends is called Ray! Thats his full name too. So I consider it a young persons name, because of the association. Its great! :flower:

I also like it. I agree, not unusual but unlikely he'll have any classmates with the same name.

Go for it babe, sounds gorgeous! and you're right Baby Ray is cute!.. and when he gets older.. Ray, it's perfect <3

I went to school with someone called Rae

NIce name and nicely unusual not "silly" unusal IYKWIM?

completely agree!

you must investigate though.. i think "raye" is the spelling for a girl (just assuming that based on the raye i know)

I think that name is adorable. But just so you know, here in the US there is a very popular football player named Ray Lewis, so that is what I thought of. In the UK, it probably would never matter, though. Great name.

I think it's a lovely names. Suits a baby, child and adult.

i think its awesome. ive loved that name for along time and hubby wont let me use it due to its his brothers name
