I know I need to eat something but I can't figure out what to eat  I'm sure that some of my nausea is because I have only had a handful of crackers today with an apple and baby bell (little cheese) but nothing sounds appetizing except pasta with cream sauce but I'm sure that it's not the best thing to help with ms...

What do you eat when you couldn't be bothered???

Well if you're actually craving something, that may be the best thing to eat. I know you may not be craving the healthiest thing, but eating something is better for the baby than not eating at all. With my first pregnancy I couldn't hold hardly anything down. I lived on Sprite and crackers because that's all I could eat. I still don't want to even look at crackers or Sprite! lol

for a snack: goldfish!!
for a meal, plain pasta with a tiny bit of butter and parm cheese. toast with butter or jelly, sliced up fruit and cheese, whatever you can imagine eating without throwing up!
One time I was nauseous and i DID eat fettuccine alfredo because i had been craving it an i was fine. Just eat whatever you can at this point! Good Luck!!

Well I think I will attempt the pasta, can't get worse as I was just  anyways

I always seem to go for a smoothie to fill me up more, and ginger ale/crackers/grapefruit pop. I just force myself my usual meals otherwise if I get too hungry I feel MORE sick.

I walk around in a near constant state of nausea. I thankfully haven't thrown up yet but just feel terrible all the time. I honestly just eat something, whatever sounds good. I feel like i'm always eating, and sadly, feeling pretty much like I'm gaining too much weight, but when I feel hungry I feel 1000 times worse!! I mostly like cheese, and bread foods (pasta, bread, crackers), but am trying desperately to start up on veggies again.. something to make sure I don't gain 100 lbs!!

Yeah, this part is no fun...it hit me kind of late (at 7 and a half weeks), but now I've just been walking around with a constant, nauseous feeling. Grocery shopping is no fun anymore. Amazingly, the thought of vegetables and smoothies make me the most nauseous. But I KNOW I need to start eating them more. Things that I have been ok eating: popcorn, french bread and cheese, hot dogs (weird), and pasta (not with creamy sauce, as that tends to make it worse). Fruits have been ok too, like apples or strawberries. 2 and a half more weeks until week 12, and I'm praying I feel better at that point. Here's to hanging in there together...one day at a time!

Eat whatever you can and whatever you want! I had MS really bad (it's a little better now) and my nurse literally told me, "If all you can keep down during the first tri is McDonald's french fries, then by God eat all the McDonald's french fries you can handle. Just eat SOMETHING."

And she told me not to worry too much because our bodies are basically traitors now. Our bodies will give all our nutrients to our babies and allow us to waste away. While that's an icky thought, it comforted me. lol.

No worries!

I eat what I crave, and it tends to go away. If I eat random crap, I end up feeling sick until I eat what I initially wanted. Wasn't that way with Helena, just this baby.

Crackers, yogurt, and gingerale.
My nausea is pretty mild though.

Green apples is what's saving me at the moment. Everything else makes me sick .

Go with whatever you fancy, but if you've got to go buy it, don't get a ton of it. The craving goes as quick as it comes.
I had the creamy cheese crave & bought 3 lasagne's. It did the job, but threw one away. Same goes for the 3 cartons of OJ.

I wouldn't worry how unhealthy it is at this stage, just aim at beating the nausea. I'm onto Pot Noodles...of all things!!!

My nausea is getting better - I had it bad for 3 weeks x

Aw hun :hugs: I eat what ever my body tells me might be good lol sometimes its wrong but most of the time its pretty good :)
You should google B6 for morning sickness, I swear it helps.

I found carbohydrates helped so bread, jacket potatoes & sometimes chips. & just little & often.

I have been eating whatever I feel I can stomach. Saturday I woke up and had an apple, the rest of the day all what I could even think about was RICE. I had rice for breakfast, lunch, snacks and supper. Watermelon is a life saver as well. I have gone through 4 watermelons in the past week and a half, and Buying another 2 after work today. I crave something, try and eat it and it makes me gag.
Everything that I have read says at this stage if you want it, Eat it.
Oh and don't even give me any Chicken- BLAH. My poor DH brought home Chinese food (because I was craving it) on friday night and I had one little plate full that was it. My DH ate it all weekend..

When I was feeling sick every minute of everyday bananas were great, biscuits, chocolate, tea all made me feel worse and left that horrid taste in my mouth!!

anything savoury but not too rich for me. but it does involve alot of carbs that has lead onto me gaining alot of weight even though i throw up at least 2-3 times a day!
im hoping im not going to be left with lots of weight to loose afterwards as i suffer badly with poor sleep so find it hard to get motivation to actually loose weight :haha:
just eat what your stomach is telling you it can handle right now, once MS starts to settle it will get easier. xx

I feel sick alot, i keep ginger biscuits next to the bed cause if i have to get up in the night for the loo i feel sick by the time i get in and toast helps me aswell. Ginger biscuits are good though x

Carbs... lots of carbs! I went of sugar and fruit at first but toast was a big life saver... and mash potato oddly! Even now i'd rather have a sandwich over anything else!!

generally a plain biscuit. a was terribly sick all the way through with maddi, and starting to feel it this time too (yay) so i'm just going with what i fancy, recently it's been yorkshire puds for some strange reason, oh and milk!
