I'll try to keep this short but I want honest opinions please
So a friend of mine is pregnant and I walk her dogs with my dog cause she's tired and has a toddler to look after. The other day I'd taken her dogs out and one of them, chasing after his ball, bowled into my dog and knocked her down. We were only across the road from her house and she heard my dog yelping and ran over and we took her to the vet. He initially thought it was no big deal, some bruising. It cost $100 and we got sent home but told that there's a small chance my dog may have more serious injuries.
My friend said that she'd pay half and over the last few days, we've been back and forth to the vet and the bill is growing. It's looking serious now and I have to take her back in the morning
My question is - Do you think she should have to pay for anything? If so, where does that end? If she said she'd pay for half when the bill was small, should she pay for half when it's thousands? I'm just unsure and don't want an awkward situation. If her dog had bitten my dog and caused injury, she would have to pay 100% of the bill. Is it different that it was an accident?
Honest opinions would be appreciated. What would you do in my spot? Or in hers?
