What funny things have people said?

We had our 3D ultrasound last weekend and our niece's were watching a live feed of the scan on their computer. The next day we say them and the 4 year old told me "We watched the baby in your belly on our computer!" She then went on to ask me a million questions, including "Do you think she'll come out with glasses on?" I said I hope not!!

hehe my son was similar, he said baby will come out with specs and a text book based on mine and dadda's job!

Then when he saw the 4D vid he screamed 'He's UGLYYYYYYYYYY Sorry mum..'

My little boy is 20 months and I have told him he has to be carefull when jumping on me because there is a baby in my belly and he always points to my belly and says baby and kisses it! Bless him i think at the moment he thinks everyone has a baby in their bellys because he has pointed at my OH belly and said baby. Also i have a doppler and i caught my son trying to listen to his baby in his belly with the headphones on bless him too young to understand at the mo!

my 3 year old little boy likes to play fight so tryed to tell him that he got to be careful not to hit or kick my belly.. a few days later i said the baby was kicking me he said "mummy thats naughty the babys not aload to kick your belly" it was so sweet just the way he said it to me lol

I'm still feeling a bit sick sometimes (but nowhere near as bad as I was a few weeks ago!) and the other day I was being sick when my son came and stood by the bathroom door, heard me being sick and shouted through 'careful you don't sick the baby down the toilet mummy!'.

I asked my DH what he was hoping for (gender-wise) before our gender scan, and he said a human baby...

He also said it would be cool if I had a "litter" (as in 3 or more babies at once)....lol

Funny you should say that my Hubby said the same sort of thing the other day, I was fretting as I already had a bump and i said what if the babys huge...He said 'yeah it might come out human sized' . I think he meant adult sized.

When we went to the Hospital on Monday to give blood we were driving around looking for a car park, when we did find one I said to him, 'You must remember to tell everyone its car park D when they come to visit the baby'
He turned around and said, 'erm no its car park P actually....because there was a giant P on the side of it'

one of hubbi's friends, just after his wife gave birth she was getting stiches and he said to the doc 'can you put and extra one in?' as a joke and the doc got him removed from the hospital. they really took it badly. he wasnt even allowed to come and collect his wife and son.

I asked my DD (should have been more specific) what kind of baby she wanted (meant boy or girl) and she replied "Mommy, I really want a black baby because they are just so beautiful!" she is almost 5. I asked my DS if he wanted a brother or a sister and he said "a sister and a brother." I replied "we are only having one" He got all sad and asked "is Jess going away once the baby comes?" I had to quickly explain that his sister would always be with us and mommy just didn't understand his answer that he wanted a brother as he already had a sister. Awe, he loves his sister a lot.

When we went for our first midwife appt at 9 weeks the midwife was asking about any abnormalities/ hereditory diseases in the family... I went through my family and then the midwife looked at OH, he sat for a minute (could practically see the cogs whirring in his brain)...

he looked back at midwife and went ... "...gingerness"

He is ginger himself bless him... you should have seen the midwifes face...she was speechless...I nearly wet myself laughing!

It isn't pregnancy related, but I overheard this little girl (probably about 5) telling her mom in the grocery store that, "It is dangerous to ride a motorcycle if you don't hold on to the boy in front of you." LOL

my OH bought Trystin a binki (paci) that says "nice tits" on it. and has stated "i'm taking him to Hooters with that paci in his mouth"
my nephew whose 4 asked me how the baby got in my tummy and i said "ask Uncle Chris" so he turns to my OH and asks if he made me swallow the baby? OH responds with "no but i tried, she just wouldn't swallow it"...men...lol.
same nephew heard a text message i got (it was screaming) and he ran over and said "is the baby crying?!" i'm still pregnant lol. it was so cute!
