What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

My pet peeves are

Oh not standing on the bath mat to get dry and soaking my bathroom floor

Oh hanging jackets over my cupboard door when right inside that cupboard are plenty of perfectly working coat

My mam having a dig that oh parents don't bother with my kids much but she lives literally over the road and only pops in for 5 mins if that a night, she knows I only have a shower and ds loves a bath but never offers to take him over and bath him while I sort the baby out

How my mam tells friends ect she can't go out because she's having my son that night but she actually nevercever has him in the 3 years he's been here I can count on my hands how many times she's had him

My mam telling people she's worried I won't cope with 2 but again doesn't help

Seeing people smoke around children

Seeing children in their prams when it's cold with no blanket and no hat

Seeing people get nasty with their kids in public, I know we all have our cut off point but I just look and think wow you can go on like that in public I hate hate hate to think of what that poor child goes through at home, when my little boy acts up in public I just get down to his level talk really quietly but change my tone so he knows there's nothing worse than seeing people balling and shouting at a child in public

Seeing mothers outside. Of the maternity wing puffing on a fag :S you have a brand new tiny baby in there how the hell is that cigarette more important? The mind boggles!!

i kind of agree with this one, although i try not to judge, its getting pretty nippy here now and my LB is ill, hes suffering a cold and cough and high temp, the docs have all told me to dress him in usual layers (vest and top and bottoms) with a blanket, if I feel he needs a coat, to put one on him, but im the best judge of that, i got a comment in the docs today from a lady she said 'oh gosh its freezing why has this poor baby not got a coat and hat on, hes going to freeze' his temperature was 37.5 so thats why he only has a blanket, not that i have to explain my self to someone who jumps down my throat without knowing the story behind it

Folk standing RIGHT at the school gates smoking. People smoking at hospital entrances regardless of signs.

Yes i am one of those ex-smokers, but i was so against it as a smoker too. It makes me rage.

When I'm driving to work in the morning, and on every radio station, they're talking about something. I want to listen to music, not them talking :haha: end up changing the station a zillion times.

Ah no I get that I mean like the kind you can just tell don't really care much I honestly seen someone before in December with their child with no socks on just a hoody no hat gloves or anything I was mortified!

Another pet hate my oh never checks to make sure our sons trouser legs are down when he's carrying him even though I tell him a million times  it's not hard lol x

yeah i hate seeing people walk with kids, they have a big coat on hat scarf gloves and a poor child in a little jacket blatently freezing, hate to say it but my OHs sister does it.

also annoys me when kids are far too ill to go to school but they are well enough to go trick or treating, going to adult parties 2 days in a row until 1 am & go to a bonfire in the freezing cold again my OHs sisters kids..

I hate when people snore and chew loudly..It drives me insane

Me and my oh don't even share a room because of his snoring! It literally ruins my life having to listen to him snore all night long X

Awful isn't it, yeah my cousins little boy told her he couldn't go to school cause he had an upset stomach they come to mine all day and he didn't go to the toilet once she knew he was lying too :S there's been many of times he's stayed off for not being well but hes gone out after school, your just building a bridge for you own back allowing stuff like that x

i dont like to judge what other people with their kids, i really dont bcos i dont like it when people do it to me, but somethings just go unrecognisable, OHs nephew is still off school today yet he was up last night playing on his xbox. when i was ill i was sent to school, if they decided i was to ill id be sent home, and thats that, if i was sent home i definatley wouldnt be playing games, at best i was allowed to watch tv and have some soup. OHs nephew is eating crap playing xbox and watching fireworks in the freezing cold!!
my OHs other sister has a 2 year old, she is really ill, she has cold and cough and e-coli (not wiping properly) they called us on sunday to see if we wanted to go out for dinner. i would have loved to but my reply was 'no not this weekend Malakai isnt well' to which she replied 'neither is E, but we are still going'.... snm!!

People who drop their kids off at school/ pop to the shop during the day in very obvious PJ's.

Drivers who get to close behind you.

Drivers who get to close behind you.
Argh YES!!!

I hate tailgaters. Whenever one is right up on me when I'm going a perfectly reasonable speed, I reduce my speed to the most annoying possible level... Not slow enough to overtake easily, but slow enough to make a point.

I work in a call centre and it really bugs me when people (I've never spoken to before) start to tell me about a situation/person and drop the word 'obviously' in front of every part of the story. How on earth is it obvious when I wasn't there and don't know the person your talking about?!?!

And another thing people do that's really annoying is start to ask a question and not finish the sentence. :growlmad:

'So with regards to shipping is it free? How much is it? Is it post or is it..........?'

Is it what??? Next day? A week? pigeon post?

It really drives me mad!!! I'm waiting for them to finish the sentence so I don't talk over them and they leave us both sat there with an awful deathly silence!!!

Arh my postman done that before asked me how to spell my surname but just went on to guess it himself not giving me a chance to tell him! It was also wrong but I just didn't have the strength to correct him, postmen in general tend to grind on me! One come last week knocked on the door once I got straight up to answer and he was walking away  then told me stop getting your post recorded delivery leave a window open and I'll just throw it through :S orrr you could just do your job properly how's about that!!!!

I want to go food shopping but it won't stop bloody raining!!!

And when people put a wet spoon in things i.e making cup of tea, mix it, then add the sugar without drying the spoon beforehand.

What a knob?! Aren't people in general just irritating?!

I've got pmt so I'll be spending the next 4/5 days logged into this post!

Pmt over here too haha but yes people are highly irritating!! Especially on a Friday afternoon in asda  I swear those people are just put on this planet to piss me off, cause i mean I can see the logic in you just having to stand in the middle of the doorway with your trolly speaking to your friend who oh look also has a trolly  are these people for real? Or the people that decided the doorway was the perfect place to smoke so my 15 week old baby is getting a face full, she spends a lot of time inside her bubble (raincover) for this reason haha x

Yes!!!! I agree completely!Veg isle natterers also piss me off! It's a super market- if you want to have a catch up swap numbers, don't hold everyone else up too!

Another thing that really annoys me is when people at the shop give you your change and put the money on top of each other in a way which makes it nearly impossible to get it in your purse while picking up a bag and hurrying up- it turns me to all fingers and thumbs everytime!

Notes coins then receipt all in 1 hand so it all gets scrumpled up and thrown in the bottom of my bag I have absolutely no time to sort through that at the till especially since at that point im raging at the thoughts of having to mission impossible my arse through 500 people through the doors again x

People with no pushchairs that clog up the lifts. I had to wait for 3 lifts before I could actually get in one today, because people who could have used the escalator couldn't be bothered!!!

People who insist on using the self service checkouts for a full trolley and have no idea on how to use it.

People who buy 1 item and wait until the item has been scanned before digging through their handbag for their purse and counting out 97p in 5s and 2s rather than just hand over £1. Sorry but have just been stood in a queue for 10mins, can you not get the money ready first rather than waste another 10mins of everybodies time.
