we have just brought maddi one from mothercare and went for 6 to 9 months cos shes so long to. im sure it has detachable booties. i don't think its silly buying one, it can get really cold here, especially if your just being pushed around like LO's are we haven't used it yet, i was going to last week as it got really cold here, i'm in the south east BTW, but now the weather seems ok, till after the weekend at least. i'll probably put her in a sleepsuit and vest underneath, she has lots of warm sleepsuits for when its cold

I've just been looking on ebay but they only have girls ones really (?!) Try woolworths, I think they have a sale on them at the moment...or did a couple of days ago. BHS have them as well and they're usually reasonable. I think most do have detachble feet. Ally's does and I'm cheapy cheap!
