What stops you going abroad for IVF?

I guess if you went abroad you would only have ec and et abroad, is that right?

Eemmmm, from what I understand, yes. After a consultation at the clinic, you come home and start your medication at home before going back to the clinic for the rest

So would you have all the scans locally to? Would that be included (scans and meds) in the cost you pay to the clinic abroad or is that extra?

Sorry for all the questions but I am interested as a back up!!

To be honest I don't know how scans and stuff work. I presume you don't have any til you get to the clinic which I believe is about CD10 (I think).
TBH, this is one of the reasons we will probably try FSH injections before going to Norway, to see how I respond whilst Im monitored

Hi Mrs R what R FSH injections???

FSH is follicle stimulating hormone. I think FSH injections are most commonly used in high doses to stimulate lots of follicles for IVF. My F.S is talking about giving me FSH injections in a lower dose to produce one or two follicles as I seem to be resistant to clomid :growlmad:
